Luke, whilst I don't necessarily agree with you on everything (or anyone else for that matter), I TOTALLY respect that you're willing to give your all in every conversation you've become a part of.

A bit of a school boy on my part, for which I apologize, is that I did not realize (until just now) that this thread was in the Paddy Power section of the forum. I surely should have noticed but did not and I do apologize - as some of my post was discussing policy on programs in general. With that in mind, I'm going to wind down and if you or a mod wishes to edit out the non-Paddy specific part of my conversation or move that to another thread - I'd be completely cool with either. Either way, I do have a response and I'd prefer to wait until either things are moved, edited, or an OK is given to respond, as I do feel bad about "where" my post has gone in your specific help forum.

Then and only then can an affiliate determine whether or not to promote the group based upon those terms.

Personally I fight against and lobby against quota terms of any kind and have been doing so for many years, since I think quotas are bad for ALL affiliates.

Thanks Shay - no problem. I think it's a valid discussion to have, whether on a general operator point or specific to Paddy Power. I'm not sure how best to split, although leaving it here I think we're going to be on the defensive against valid concerns of yours that I don't think apply to Paddy Power but do to other operators. If we're talking about PP specifically, then here's fine.

For some reason every post I have tried to post in this thread goes away and I have to write again....damn aggrivating hope this clears up soon.

Anyway, don't have time to re-write the whole thing but I must add this disclaimer:

As far as I know Paddy Power has a decent reputation of paying affiliates that are due commissions and I hope this continues.

Having more clearly defined terms when it comes to what they consider an active affiliate, or just about any other term that defines what an affiliate makes or how and when they will be paid, can only make the decision whether an affiliate works with them or what to expect from that working relationship can only improve those relationships for BOTH parties.
