Page layout/Page setup

Do you have a preferred or set layout on a page? I.e do you use the same title placement, picture placement, button/link in the same way across all pages or do you mix it up?

I use the same style on all my sites but I do mix it up on some site, For instance On some sites I have it as just content - sidebar and on other sites I have it laid out as sidebar - content - sidebar.

I keep the text links blue with a red hover. On the header I have changed the color a bit on some sites to switch things up.

That site had many annoying pop-ups, so their advice may be questionable. Anyway, I like to keep my sites different but the layout consistent within those sites. The reader prefers familiarity, so navigation links IMO should be the same throughout the site. Ads I generally keep the same, and content varies as the amount of words and images is likely different depending upon what I am writing about.
I think as long as it is clean and tidy, with a readable font and well written, then the reader should be happy.
