PR update

Main went up to PR3 and lost traffic again.

Other sites that gained did nothing.

My PR0 sites do better than my big ones of late

So what does this mean... it means that the panda and penguin filters where probably not working as well as expected because they were penalizing sites with PR and leaving sites with 0 alone.

Now we all have PR and I say... HERE COMES ANOTHER ALGO THAT DOES CHANGE A LOT!

When would be the best time for that....?

Wait I know, just before all the companies think they are going to rank for x-mas gifts are going to get sunk and they will HAVE to buy adwords.

If you know Google and their propaganda then you should read "that is going to happen before Christmas"

Penguin penalized bad links. The PR does only reflects the number of links you have. So a site with PR3 has probably more links than your PR0 site. So that site can have more bad links and gets penalized by penguin.

That is interesting! The problem that this will cause is it will allow link brokers to raise their prices. The more people think that pr is significant the more they will pay which will cause more paid links.Google doesn't want paid links, no?

Well my main site gained PR, went from 2 to 3 but just today dropped drastically for my main keyword....... not cool!
