PartyGaming goes "Big Brother" on affiliates

PartyGaming has asked Envisional to adapt its A3I (Advanced Automated Artificial Intelligence) search technology to handle long-term affiliate monitoring. Yikes!! That doesn't sound good.

You know what? I dont mind this kind of monitoring for PartyGaming sites, and or any online gaming operator for that fact. I know all my stuff is legit, and if you have nothing to hide, why would you be worried if they check your sites. I would be happy to see all the gambling banners of sites that have no content, or are consider adult sites.

I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing so long as they use the tool correctly. I can't see that detecting any misuse of a brand would cause an honest webmaster any problems. It might even cut down on spam.

However, there is a darker side. Could the tool be used to reflect what methods the successful Webmaster is using to bring new players so that PartyGaming use these tactics themselves?

Not sure if they are referring to the A3i or the A31. The A3i is a sniffer but fail to see how someone could patent something that has been open source for years?
