Default payments not on time for many programs

    Dear affiliate managers:

It would seem some programs are getting later and later with payments for whatever reason ( doesn't concern me ) as long as payments are made on time. Its Christmas and being late at this time of the year is hard on affiliates. Please make an effort to get payments out on time as we do count on this money for the holiday season.

    Thank you.

    Default Affiliate payments

As a relative newcomer to the portal industry I have noticed that some affiliate programs conveniently lose my banking information (right around payment time)and have to ask me for it repeatedly. This delays payments for as much as three weeks sometimes. I leads me to believe that perhaps some of the programs are living on next months revenues. Just a thought.

I promised the moderators I would not rant and rave, poke fun, make accusations, name names or generally act like an a** anymore (it's killing me inside) so I won't say who is doing it. (Rats! ) I do eventually get paid and since I am retired the money is important but not life threatening for my support so I roll with the flow and learn as I go.

I am one for payments on time as well, but i was thinking there could be a number of factors as to why payments are delayed. More and more affiliates are starting up so affiliate managers are becoming over worked.

If that is the case all affiliate programs should change there payment dates to a later time, instead of just letting people emailing in asking when or if they are going to be paid.

Everyone loves payments on time, but in todays world we have to expect delays.

If payments are missed totaly for a month, and it becomes a regular thing then it is something to start worrying about.

If you know the programs you are promoting are all above board, then i would just suggest writing and ask them to change there payout times on there website.

Its hard though for those who work just on affiliate marketing and depend on the income as a sole income. All affiliate programs should notify all affiliates if payments are going to be delayed regardless of reasons.

Maybe for those "Programs" that work along side GPWA could have a delay in payments section so all affiliates are aware of what is going on. Just a thought.
