Default Players account to be closed

    Hello everybody,
today I received an email from a program informing they no longer accept French players. Nothing new since the new regulation in progress in France.

What I don't understand is this sentence (translated from Italian):
Next week we will shut down all French players accounts. We will pay you all the revenue generated till that day.

Where is the lifetime revenue share? What if I sent them 1.000 players depositing 1.000$ per month each?

I'm 100% sure they will reopen a new account for them and those 1.000 players will continue depositing 1.000$ per month each as soon as they will acquire a license..

It seems a very "smart" way to cut revenue share costs.

This is the big question - Will they re assign those players when they activate them again - Only time will tell.....It has been a question re US for a long time now. For example when Party go back, there are affiliates with thousands of US players under party and there never has been answer about what would happen

I cannot speak for that particular program but in our case we would have simply reactivated the players' accounts where it shows through which affiliate they signed up.

After all this is the fair course of action.

You see, from an operator's point of view it is always preferable to let a player keep an account he has had for some time instead of getting him to set up a new one because it makes it harder to keep track of the player's history with different accounts.

This of course is applicable as long as the operator will keep using the same software after being granted the license.

Even then, if the players are migrated to a new software, it is still possible to re-track them to their respective affiliates.

I guess in the end it will all depend on that particular program's integrity.
