I think he is quoting from www.truegambler.com 's analysis of video poker for Microgaming,Cytech and Playtech. Microgaming seems to deal random cards. The other two don't. This is not a 'fact' but a statistical observation.
I don't know what to think of it, because I don't understand all the statistics involved. They will be releasing the results for blackjack in the near future. I wouldn't draw any conclusions until then.

Has the wizzard looked into this?
I don't want to carry casinos that cheat, but i also don't want to do injustice to them. Perhaps the wizzard will do an independent evaluation?

Well this is from his website, on the Playtech Review page.
"Let it be known that I have served as a consultant to Playtech. While this review was originally written before they engaged my services I do update it from time to time. This review attempts to be unbiased and mostly sticks to the game rules, odds, and strategy. While I feel comfortable there is no conflict of interest I think it is appropriate to disclose the relationship."
It would be interesting to hear what he has to say about this.

First of all, we don't use alarmist accusatory language in here until something is proven.
Second of all - I have MANY happy, happy players at Playtech casinos, and I've played at many of them quite a bit myself. I also have some screenshots of Royal Flushes at CTropez on my Video Poker Junkie Hall of Fame.
I don't believe they're cheats, and get very tired of accusations without proof.
I don't believe there's a video poker playing webmaster on the internet that has as many years experience as I do at playing video poker in land casinos - 17 years, to be exact - on many, many different software platforms. If it's running wrong, I'll be the first to know.

Well Im not a math wiz myself but according to the ppl at winneronline its 96% to 99.4% likely that they cheat. Thats all I need to know!
I have played a Playtech too, even the videopoker but no one could tell if they had the Royal set to only occur once per 70000 or 40000 hands(this is only an example, nothing to do with Playtech)
Did you check out the test at http://www.truegambler.com/forum/mes...1&threadid=562

My opinion of anything stated as "fact" at WOL is right up there with, ohh...hmmm....the crap on the bottom of my shoe.
No one should believe what they read over there, without bothering to find out the truth.
It's amazing that I, and many other webmasters, have SO many winners at Playtechs if indeed they're cheating. How do the math wiz's explain that?

Winneronline forum "fact" or not...
If you bevieve the statistics gatherd on Truegambler it is pretty obvious the game is NOT random

Rat are there any Casinos or Affiliate Programs that you DO like? I have seen you bash House Winnings/Tradal , Boss Media and Now Playtech. You also seemed to dislike William Hill and I can't remember you ever saying anything good about any affiliate program or software platform. What's up with that?

Well, in new to the biz, haven't got much good to say. Only had problems this far, nothing big but still. +This also means I can speak freely(new to the biz, I can drop anyone It wont hurt my income
). IM mainly whining about operations not answering my mail's, because I believe this is an important factor, that you at least get a reply
for some reason casino coins wont give me swift reply's
I haven't said anything bad about Boss have I ? that would not be fair to my fellow country men. I wish they answered my mail's faster though
William hill are OK only wish you could see how many clicks/hits you get on the stats. They got me worried when I read they had a fee I missed in the Terms, turned out to be nothing though
they really give you 20% commission after fees.
Good software platforms are the ones who don't cheat, If you give them the benefit of a doubt these are good RTG (but only a handful good casinos use it), Microgaming is good, Boss Media I believe is good I cant play there though, I did once anyway .
Casino on net is great too bad house winnings wont reply to my mail's without me posting about them on WOL, It doesn't really bother me though as they only give 20% commission and CON is overpromoted.
Also the OddsOn software I like, to bad it is a bit unstable and that casinocoins wont answer my mail's I refuse to call .
I also believe Slotland is OK, but not for Videopoker players.
I liked the Videopoker at IGW casino good as gold to bad affiliates only get 20% commission otherwise I could market them with the royal I got there.
Playtech on the other hand, the first online casino I plyed at was Blackwidow back when they were RTG I loved them, then they swith to Playtech and start to suck ass. Just never liked Playtech anyway dont understand why ppl love them ?
LOOK at that I said some nice things! I even like your(Professor) website. I wish you would update the gold club code though for the free games. What's up with that?

Professor - :rof: :rof: :rof: :rof: :rof: :rof: :rof: :rof:
Rat - don't believe everything you read at wol. There are some decent people there, but there are a lot of people who just need to let off steam, and those who will start up rumors by the dozen and then enjoy leaning back and watching others run with it. They're having fun at everyone else's expense.
You can't really expect to make much in the way of money until you are established, have a decent search engine ranking and have built up a player base. This will never happen unless you are willing to buckle down, read the search engine forums instead of wol, optimize your site and take your clues as to what to promote from the sites that do well. Then stick with programs long enough to see if they perform. Or maybe you don't perform, if you send them people who don't really want to gamble they will of course not do so.
There is quite a lot to learn, and once your site is old enough you ought to come inside and you will be busy for a very long time learning everything that the webmasters here have to offer. There is a wealth of knowledge and experience here.
There are a lot of good casinos and there are a loot of good affiliate programs or the whole business would have faltered a long time ago. Yes, there are rotten apples, and we do weed them out.

IM trying to weed out all the bad apples before I promote them, that's pretty hard on your own. I think I have a good list now of casinos that IM probably sticking with for a long time in the future.
I ONLY have one more month to get access to the private forums, then I will probably shut up for a while
And I don't believe everything I read at wol, it is however a big forum with a wealth of information. Had I read Search engine forums instead of wol I would probably be promoting allot of the "bad apples".

Weeding out the rotten apples is an ongoing process. Once you come in you'll be able to launch searches on all programs and see their history and reputation.
Meanwhile, there are a lot of blacklists out there you can check out. Most of my sites carry one. I don't promote blacklisted casinos, and I don't promote casinos people at GPWA don't like. And I still have a ton of reliable casinos to promote.

Many of us carry lists, good and bad - I just put one up the other day on my webmaster page of *flawless* aff programs.
And again, Rat, most of what you read at WOL is garbage. Less than 10% is worth paying attention to.
