    Default Playtech Payment Procedures!

First, let me say this - I'm speaking for myself only here. What other members feel or do about this is entirely up to them.

I received yet another ridiculous "new payment procedures" notice today, from another Playtech Casino group; :fire:
    Dear Cynthia

I am writing to bring you up to date on new payment procedures which will affect all affiliate payments from USA Casino and New York Casino from March 5th 2003 onwards. These changes are essential to ensure compliance with increasingly rigid international banking regulations. They will involve a bit more input from you but we have worked hard to keep this to the absolute minimum.

There will be two significant changes to current procedures.

The minimum monthly payment will be increased from $50 to $200. If you would like to vary this, it can be lowered but there will be charges for monthly payments below $200 (see table below).

On the second of each month (or the first weekday after that if it falls on a weekend) we will send you an invoice by email. You must print this invoice, sign it and fax it to 1ATM at fax number: +357-22-679096. Your faxed invoices must reach 1ATM by the 5th day of every month to ensure payment for the preceding month.
The invoice only states your name and affiliate username and is your charge for payment of the due amount for marketing services provided to InterContinental Casinos for the period.

The preferred method of payment is by NETeller, which is quick and free. If you would rather be paid by another method, the following charges will apply:

If your monthly fee is $1000 or more:

    - NETeller: FREE
    - PayPal: FREE
    - Bank Draft, regular mail delivery: FREE
    - Wire Transfer: FREE

If your monthly fee is less than $1000:

    - NETeller: FREE
    - PayPal: FREE
    - Bank Draft, regular mail delivery: $15
    - Wire Transfer: $35

Please note that you must select your payment option in your Account Details on the Partnership Program website before the end of the month for which payment is to be made. You can do this by logging in to your account and selecting "Modify Account".

If you request monthly payments below the new minimum of $200, there will be a minimum charge of $10 for the transaction. If you would prefer your minimum payment to be increased - for example, only to pay out when it is above $1000 - then please let me know as soon as possible.

You should be receiving your first invoice next week.

Thanks for all your hard work.

    Kind regards

    Stephen Fielding

This is just getting beyond ridiculous and irritating. InterContinental Casinos - USA and New York casinos - are using scumware against us, and now they're going to add insult to injury by making us jump thru hoops in order to get the money due us? :fire: I think not. Guess what, Stephen? You're off my sites permanently - not a problem for me at all.

But beyond just this group, many Playtech casinos are coming up with this garbage in order to get paid, claiming "international banking restrictions", "accounting record requirements", etc.

I find it very curious that they are the ONLY casino group claiming concern for "international banking restrictions".

I find it incredibly ridiculous that that they need us to "invoice" them for payment of commissions due us. We all signed a contract with them the day we signed up with them; that, and their records, are the only things their accounting departments need to pay us.

But no - they want us to print out a form, fill it out, get it notarized in some cases (that'll never happen from me), then fax it internationally at OUR cost. :eeek:

I personally don't need this crap from a casino when there are plenty of other casinos willing to pay me without making me jump thru hoops - therefore, I don't need any Playtech casinos that can't do the same thing.

And by the way, any Playtech casinos that are still carrying that bogus "OPA Certified" thing on their sites need to remove it.[/b]

Well said Cindy k: I must admit I wrote a less than polite reply to that email when I received it and the casinos concerned are coming off my sites today. Our job as webmasters can be hard enough without casinos imposing silly conditions on how we get paid. Especially casinos that use scumware :fire:

I have been trying to talk to Stephen from USA and NY about the predatory advertising issue and offered to work with them. Unfortunately this has turned out to be like pulling teeth, nothing constructive has come forth and if they are actually doing something, they surely haven't kept me in the loop.

My patience is running thin, if the week runs out and there is still no constructive communication from them, I am breaking off negotiations.

Hi. This is John from Sunny casinos. I have just read Cynthias comments about Playtech casinos a)affiliate charges b)OPA certification.

    a. Our policies seem quite different. Does anyone have a problem with any of our policies?

    b. We send a ton load of information to the OPA each month for them to chack our stats. Is there something wrong with the OPA certification?

City Club Casino has now joined in on the party

I am writing to update you on new payment procedures, which will affect all affiliate payments from CityClubCasino starting March 5th, 2003 and onwards. These changes are essential to ensure compliance with increasingly rigid international banking regulations. We believe the process will run smoothly and more efficiently.

The invoice contains your name and affiliate username and is your claim for payment of the due amount for marketing services provided to CityClubCasino for a set period of time.

The preferred method of payment is by NETeller, which is quick and free. If you would rather be paid by another method, the following charges will apply:

If your monthly fee is $1000 or more:

    - NETeller: FREE

Please take care to select a payment option via your account details on the Partnership Program website. This must be completed before the end of the month for which payment is to be made! You can do this by logging in to your account and selecting "Modify Account".

Your invoice will be arriving shortly.

Thank you for your hard work.

I have officially broken off negotiations with USA and NY casino.

They are the only casinos who show no goodwill whatsoever.

I recommend that everyone remove them from their pages now.

If you like playtech casinos, try Casino Tropez. They are nice people and they don't use scum.

PR Dept is Nicole from Sunny Group - I don't know why she did that, unless she was copying my post and accidentally hit "enter" - I've done that myself.

Ya, I just got that from City Club, too - and I'm *very* upset about that one. :fire:

Personally, I can live without playtech. Not a problem for me.

It's not where I make my money anyway.

I feel sorry for Casino Tropez, but there is no way I am going through all that trouble.

I don't know where they get these silly ideas, but I think they will soon be without affiliates if they keep this up.

I have just emailed CityClub and asked them "what are the 'international banking regulations' that they are attempting to comply with?".

Default Payment Procedure For Sunny's Affiliates

    Hi Everyone

I have been reading your posts, however did not give any feedback because we have some great news regarding payment procedures in March's newsletter.

I don't know who else is PR, however I did copy a post and send it to eveyone in my office to make them aware that as usual we are on top of our competition. I'm remaining a bit tight lipped about our new procedures so that you guys can be surprised by our news next week. :rof:

    Nicole Greene
