Please help me get to walk in the survivor parade at the Kentucky Oaks!

to the left of the lovely story Lauren, my sister, wrote about me, you will see "vote for Ellen", click on that and it should say "you voted for ellen".

I want to go to the Kentucky Oaks and walk in the survivor parade this year! There will be 138 cancer survivors walking the track on May 4th.

You should be able to vote once a day until voting closes March 26th. Please pass this link on to your friends and family and ask them to vote for me If you can vote for others as well (I was told you may be able to vote for 5 people in total a day) then please vote for some of my other great friends, Susan Gephart, Stacy McNew, Peggy Tschauner, Lisa Mitchell, Mary Kaberle, Gina Robinson, Kyann Cummings, Tina Fey, Ronna Nichter and Raven Railey.

I will be taking my best friend, Lynne, to the Oaks if I win, we would get lunch and 2 tickets to the Oaks. I figured taking Lynne would keep me from having to pick between my two sisters! And Lynne and I have been trying to organize doing the Oaks for like 25 years and not made it yet!

I finished my 22nd radiation yesterday, 6 to go, but that won't resume til the 26th, I get 7 days off and I need it, blood blisters on my breast now

Judy, I wish your brother the best, I sure hope the radiation is successful. My cousin was diagnosed in Dec. with a rare appendix cancer, she is getting really sick from the chemo and they can't operate yet because it's too spread around. It makes me sick to my stomach to hear of so many coming down with this terrible disease. I sure hope we find a cure soon, for all cancers.

today is the last day of voting. There are over 400 nominated and only 138 get in, right now I have 223 votes, of the 400+ nominated, 110+ have over 200 votes, so I it's running really too close for comfort.
I definitely need a good amount of votes to secure my spot!! So please vote again!
