    Default Please be resonable

You know who you are. You edited my wiki link, and just put your url in there. I sent a lot of time adding new and relevant info to. I did not delete any of your like 20 links there. Only the URL was changed to an article with your site in it. I am refraining from saying who atm but if you keep doing it I don't see why I should accept it. Please have a look at what site you are deleting as it was mine. The reference frankly was better as is. I will now be diligently checking it... and I am going to discuss in open the people who are doing it.

IMO if they are a member here you should name and shame.

I agree with @redbush. It is very difficult to get a wiki link, I would give them a day to change it back if they don't then send an email to wiki

I will not because it is a respected and (I think) honest person and it will stop. When dealing with how many spammers are out there it could be just another day at work for them. The fact that the data added to it came from an article with its own references that are indexed in the wiki and was curated with proper citations. This is the definition of semantic information as it was researched and then the data was analysed and uploaded for the public. The procedure could be repeated if you follow all the cross links. The webmaster in question probably pays someone to watch over these things his network is so large. Frankly the few that do maintain these pages do a good job. But if it continues I will see it as a Monopoly (what it looks like anyway) and really break it down for everyone.

I had a link removed from the external links section of a wiki page recently. The links that were removed (not just mine) were all relevant and useful additions to the article but they weren't referenced in the main text.

Is it a rule that you have to reference all links in the text?

If you do keep putting your link back where you feel it should be allowed, are there any consequences?!

Yes the wiki sweepers will strip away all not accurate references not cited in the proper locations, in the proper manner. The inline references must adhere to the proper structure as well, and most importantly...

    be verifiable non-original content.

edit: sorry I forgot to answer your question.

Continually editing will raise a flag and that is the best way to get the article looked at by top editors. This can also get your IP banned.
