    Default Please review our website

    Dear All,

We are just starting out, the website is 2 months old. We are not getting any visitors yet and not scoring very highly in google yet, but that's hopefully just due to the site being so new. We have only had one casino sign up through our trackers which has actually given us a negative carry over at William Hill !!
We still have loads of stuff to add to the website but the core of it is at least nicely taking shape.

Anyways, we would appreciate any feedback you may have for us:

    Thanks in advance.

Hi, I actually came across your site by googling an online slots term before you posted here, so maybe that is good news to hear. I think you already have some nice rich content. I do however feel you should put some more slots reviews up.

I am not too fond of the logo and header, it seems very dark and unclear. Also, there are hardly any images on your pages. Some nice pictures will make the articles and pages a lot more attractive.

And just out of curiosity: on your "18 simple rules" page in rule number 4 you state: Do not play on mobile casinos (smartphone or tablet). Why is that? Just wondering why you would advise this?

I wish you a lot of luck (and lots of big depositors)!

    Hi Wolfie,
    Thanks for the feedback!
The logo was trying to be subtle and fit in with the colour scheme of the wordpress template and not look tacky. But maybe we need to look at it again though?
I do agree with lack of images, that is a good idea.
I am also happy to hear you actually came across us cia google, very good news indeed.
We are still in the beginning stages so slots and casino reviews are still to be done. In fact we still need to get signed up to affiliate schemes for a lot of the casinos we trust. We wanted to get the articles up before anything else really.

As for mobile gaming, it just doesnt sit well. You cant play strategy properly on your phone and it is also a small step towards addiction if you cannot take yourself away from the casino and enjoy real life. There is an article explaining our dislike of mobile gaming.
As affiliates surely we all have a responsibility to point out the dangers of gambling addiction rather than simply try and sucker people in and cash in on their self-destruction?

Thanks for the advice and good luck with your site.

PS hebben jullie problemen met de nieuwe wetgeving in Nederland?

Hi, thank you for your explanation on your view on mobile slots, to each their own of course. The responsibility regarding gaming addiction is always tricky. My view is that I only preach what i practice, so I will only recommend slots or casino's that I have tried and played for real money myself. In the end, it is up to the customer to decide where, on what platform and for how much he will spend.

I think the new gaming laws in The Netherlands will bring good opportunities as finally gaming operators will be able to spend money advertising and gain exposure. There will also be a lot of new parties on the market (more than 180 companies have shown interest in a license) so some smart affiliates might be able to get some good deals in the new market. The tax in GGR of 20% wil mean less revenue for affiliates of course, so maybe a cpa will be the way to go.

Best of luck to you too!

You are right about the customer, no matter what advice anyone gives it is up to them what they do with it. We are just aiming for a different angle to most affiliate sites as I think there's room in the market for all sorts of portals. We are gearing more towards the "don't gamble at all" angle but it's up to the reader if they chose to listen to our advice or not.

We're very interested in the developments in NL and I think you have a very good head start for when things really kick off.

Very nice site. The only thing that I would modify would be the black heading on a grey background.

Sorry, doesn't do it for me, especially with that grey background. Looks like an old person's home wallpaper (with all respect!).

Didn't see the previous title, but the current one stands out from the rest of the site and not in a very good way. There's just seems to be difference in quality. No idea if it's due to the resolution of the logo, the font you used, compression or the background, but it looks somewhat off.

I see what you guys mean about the title. I've uploaded a new one, as you can see none of us have any artistic talents so a very basic effort using the wonderful MS Paint!!

At least the colours fit into the website scheme. I reckon it's a better fit and in the future we can try and Photoshop something decent to replace it.

Thanks again for all the feedback.

Definitely a step up What about making the green shadow be the exact same color as the green in the menu?

And don't worry, I can definitely imagine what horror it must be to do it yourself, I'm no artist myself, thankfully we have a person to do that stuff

If you got some money to spare, you may think about hiring someone to design a logo for you, there are sites where people provide services like that, but I'm not sure about the costs.

Much better. And if you want to get a good logo designed for you at low costs: try 99 designs. You pay a fixed price and multiple designers send in their designs. You only pay the one you choose at the end. For something along the lines of 200 euro you can get a very nice logo done.
