Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a project that we've recently launched for a customer of ours - https://casinoble.ie/

What we did here is a bit more of what we're usually doing. For the entire projects we've made over 200+ custom, thematic illustrations that you can see in each of the landing page's headers and inside the content, a logo & branding concept that were .

Custom Wordpress theme and 90+ Speed score is also what was required technically-wise.

Moving forward we're now working into converting the rest of the 30+ language versions of the site to the same look & feel.

Indeed, looks and feels good! Not that I am planning to undertake anything like this in the nearest future, but something I will definitely keep in mind going forward. If that's not an issue, would you be able to share at least a ballpark number of what you would charge for something like this?

It looks good, although there is also some information clearly missing from the site. In particular, I noticed in the "about the name" section on the page casinoble.ie/about/ there are four instances of the text "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua."

And I also note that in the "our team" section on the same page, that same text is used as the description of each of the six team members listed and that the LinkedIn and twitter links provided for team members are incorrect.

I noticed these issues because one of the first things I usually do when looking at a site is to understand the background of the site.

There's no doubt your web dev company, develops awesome sites. However, the price tag for these bespoke designs are very costly, I believe upward of Euro10K. I do recall you guys mentioning something about an saas product, that was way back in Sept 2020. From memory that kinda of fizzled out. Let me see if I can fine the thread...

for those who are not willing to pay for 100% custom web design & development.

We're working on a saas product that will provide centralised database of casino information (bonuses/terms/payment providers/softwares/other facts).

This will also come with a premium iGaming Wordpress theme which will fit smaller budgets as well, and will also include pre-sets like casino logos, relations between casinos/providers/payments, so all you'll need to to is to go and put your unique content and affiliate links.

Will most more info on it this September.

The website looks good. If I can give a comment, the first part of the homepage is a bit boring. All blue and no information, just the 2 buttons.

In my experience you get a better conversion if you put your top list first.

You mean, the "above fold"... and yes I agree. What a complete waste of space.

Much better than the previous one. Smooth color scheme. Its a bit much of content on the index page IMO. Very good speed and CWV results for such a big site!

@AussieDave ... I would call 10-15k a quite a chunk of money but a faire prize tag for such a site. Paid the same for different projects. On top, he adapted the theme on several domains.

On the other hand, but thats a different story, Googlewise, the complete system looks burned to me.

Those are of course valid arguments about use of space above the fold. Personally (and more relevant in this case than in many others) I don't think that's necessarily as important as it might be on other sites. I think the question might be "does the current layout above the fold encourage the visitor to scroll".

My own brain doesn't 'work' visually, and yet I believe if I was a normal user I'd want to scroll based on what I first saw (but it's hard to be objective about that because probably none of us are looking at it with the eyes of a 'normal' user).

In this case, I suspect there might be some improvement of potential by trying to enhance that above the fold experience (ie maintain the current feel of the hero (which does seem to give plenty of interest), but either shrink it slightly to bring a few centimetres of scroll up (so you see the image more, but also get more of an idea of what's below, and that also brings the dark blue Casinoble betting guide block higher (hence losing some of that unused space above, possibly without negatively impacting the overall look/feel).

Aside from that...and the written content in question ("Googlewise, the complete system looks burned to me." I think this is what Eenzoo means)...you'd have to say it's desirable overall.

Something like it could be replicated fairly easily I think (the design, and 'easily' means probably a weeks work for a clued up WP user to get the structure of the elements, not including writing content, geo, and image work)...but very doubtful you'd be able to keep the speed, handle whatever there is you don't actually see, and of course all the image work, geo manipulation etc would take a ton of work.

Hello everyone and thank you for your feedback!

Few points from me:

1. Above the flood area:
This was one of the main requirements for the project. Here we had to improve the search intention and make visitors stay longer on the page, give them options to learn more about the topic or go to toplist, not only to send them to click on affiliate links (which of course might not be the best in terms of conversion).

The second reason for this is - branding. Not many of the sites invest that much in custom, thematic illustrations for each of their landing pages.

If this will work or not - we'll see. It was a requirement for us and interesting approach (I think).

2. Cost wise - the entire project took us ~900 hours (so far) in Design/development and content management work.

The site loaded quickly and has a nice, clean layout to it. It's pretty cool that you've given your users a list of the different countries to choose from in your dropdown menu. I really think you should make your logo bigger though as it's a bit hard to read from my mobile phone. I also like how you go into detail in all of your sections and make everything as clear as possible to your visitors. Your new casinos section is also up to date and comprehensive. Doing well so far.

Nice fast and responsive website. I like the divisions between the content aswell on the frontpage. Only thing is the size of the images, for me a bit to large but that is personal taste I guess. Keep up the good work!

Following up on my feedback from before on the "about" page, I also noticed in the "Our Partners" section of that page, the descriptions for bet365 and Leo Vegas provided are the following:

Since it was founded in 2012, Casumo has won multiple industry awards, especially in the best mobile casino and innovation categories. Casumo has also managed to re-invent and redefine its offering in the tightening regulatory environment.

Partly I point this out because I went back today to see if any of the issues I pointed out before on that page were fixed, and I see that has not happened yet. So, I thought I would point out that there continue to be issues on that page, in case the feedback from before got lost.
