Poker.com now a portal

I'm not sure what this means for affiliates yet, but it looks like poker.com has become a portal. The poker.com softwre/platform has become part of the Merge Gaming Network, which has launched CarbonPoker.com (essentially poker.com) as its first brand. In addition to promoting CarbonPoker.com, Poker.com is also has ads for 888.com and Full Tilt. Here's what we found on their web site about it:

Surprising move there. To be honest the Riverstyxs Software imo kind of sucks. But I would have thought that if they were to bail out, they would sell the domain to the likes of Party or Ladbrokes.

Still it is a superb domain name and I am sure they will continue to make a packet from just mediabuys alone.
