I received a note wanting me to promote a new casino of theirs. I already refuse to carry CON but they keep trying.
Seems they are promoting Golden Stars Casino ( x-http://www.goldenstarscasino.com) which is an iGlobalmedia property.

Well I took the time to read the T&C. Very interesting reading. Not only do they carry over a negative balance if you players win, BUT if you don't make enough to cover the neg the next month,

THEY WILL BILL YOU FOR IT.

Just thought I would post this as a heads up in case any of you are Tradal followers.

4.5 Payment Minimums. You will only be sent a check or wire if the amount due is more than $50.00. However, if the Marketing Fees payable to you are less than $50.00 in any calendar month, then we may hold those fees until the total amount due is more than $50.00 (or if earlier) until this Agreement is terminated. If the amount due for a particular pay period is negative (Redeems exceed Purchases) then the negative amount will be carried over into the following pay period. If there is no following payment due, then we may send you a bill for the negative amount. If you have more than one Tracker, then the above payments will be determined on the sum total of your Trackers combined.

Tradal has also been good about telling people to bend over and smile.

I think it's time to retire as Tradal liason after my uneventful 2 day stint, not sure I want to deal with this!

First of heard of it but that's ridiculous, I can't believe they'd stoop that low.

Newbie webmasters - this is not normal. NO other casino bills you for losses - this is absolutely ludicrous.

I have started looking and this appears on ALL IGLOBALMEDIA casinos I have checked. I just pulled this off of STARLUCK:

Such a shame too. They have been converting fairly well. Guess I got a Bunch of updating to do I wasn't planning on.

We don't need to draft a letter! They sent me a solicitation this am, too. I'll just respond and point them to this thread!

I've never signed with an IGM casino either so I have never checked the T&C. I realise it's every webmasters responsibility to check the T&C before signing as an affiliate but this rule is ridiculous

I'm not sure if this is the full list but it's got a lot of them http://www.iglobalmedia.com/portfolio.htm

I've checked www.archive.org to see how long these T&C's have been in operation but most the T&C pages I checked are redirected to the current page, so it's impossible to tell.

So, has anyone actualy had this rule applied to them or is it there as back up contingency? Even if this is the case it is still a terrible rule.

When I first started, I promoted them quite a bit, but they never converted very well. I am very happy that no one ever won big. Mercifully, I dropped them all about 1 year ago. Good ridance!!!!

Well I got a reply to my email stating that they don't do that. When I sent them a cut and paste of the T&C they still insisted they wouldn't bill and went off on some tangent about it costing $13-$17 to send a check?????

If those people had half a brain, well, they would have half a brain I guess. Too bad they don't.

If the clause is in the contract, it's there for them to exercise at will, and that's the problem. If they're not going to do it, why have it there??? :shake:

I just got off the phone with the marketing director at Tradal, after several calls back and forth betwen them and iGlobalmedia the terms will be modified and no longer state that webmasters "may be charged for a negative balance".

The reason the agreement was originally written like that was to discourage fraudulent activities. In the past people had made deposits, collected commissions on those deposits then removed the funds.

I explained to them that based on the wording of the agreement webmasters would not feel comfortable promoting their
casino(s). They agreed and have rewritten the agreement. You will be able to view the new version later this evening.

I don't know if this has been cleared up yet, and I don't promote Caribbean Star/Gold (or whatever that was) however I do promote over 8 of the iGlobal casinos including Caribbean Nights.

I asked them about the T&C where it said that. They told me they never bill people - and they never have billed me. They have put me in the red for a month, but at the beginning of the month you have a clean slate. I actually did my math and figured they were losing money on my tracker for awhile.

That fired me up cause I thought - no way can the casino take a bath - but they explained it to me pretty well. I have a player who did exceptionally well for three months. They lost money on my tracker. But over the 20,000 webmaster they have - he said "believe me, me made money" - he also pointed out that her luck was sure to run out eventually and when it did, we'd rake it in...
