Is it possible to convert FTD's with bet calculator tool?

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if a page with well designed and useful betting calculator tool can convert players. I know that almost 100% of the visitors will already have a betting account but that doesn't mean that if you offer them generous free bet offer they will not get it.
Any observations on that case? It's almost the same as betting tips, i guess?

But the results will be based on many factors.

What keywords brought the visitor?

Just betting calculator, or did the visitor visit the site for other higher converting keywords and happen to read the page to see if your calculator could actually slice their bread while providing more wins.

Did the visitor arrive at the page based on the "free bet" advertised?

Does the visitor already have an account at the various bookies the free bet is for?

Is it a Tuesday on an odd numbered date?

I am sure there may be many other factors and reasons why it may or may not convert. I am interested to see other suggestions, since I think if you have the idea to code a bet calculator for your visitors and have some ideas to package it well, it can in fact convert.

Well the reason why I am asking is the calculator site with the most traffic. These guys don't have gambling affiliates. They monetize with AdSense and a question came to mind if that niche is enough profitable to make an effort ranking for these keywords. I beleive they haven't tried working with affiliates and just stick to the safety choice with ads. Yes, maybe profits are not so generouse but are very steady and predictable. That's my thought, i am just shooting in the dark

I've had various calculators from 2009 to 2017. They were mostly to figure out the true odds for double chance and draw no bet bets, so instead of taking what the book gives you, you could place several different bets on the outcomes and get % on top of what they offered.

In my experience, these are very handy tools, drive traffic, but have slim to no chance to convert a reader to a player. Why? Why would someone who doesn't have a book to bet at, even look for such calculators?

From what I saw, everyone was already betting online, had a book of choice and just wanted to get better odds for their money. You are also overestimating the power of the free bet offers, and the kind of players they lead.

Another thing is there are certain books that perform the best for sports their logo is green white and yellow *wink* *wink*. With over 80 million customers worldwide a lot of players already have an account there.

Never took them down. It was that part of the site that was just for utility and usefulness to the players with nothing in return and I didn't mind.

I have a page that has ranked for a long time for 'bet calculator' terms and gets good traffic and I can confirm you do not get FTD's via this term. I never set the page up to send accounts, just to get the traffic to help the site.

It is worth doing if you want traffic that can support other aspects of a site but on its own it is not going to drive any accounts or revenue.

I think small conversions from gambling traffic with an affiliation setup is almost always going to beat an adsense set up.

Just one CTA on the page itself. Traffic is OK so it helps the site but it's not a commercial term so no point sticking loads of affiliate links on it.

It is the kind of keyword I'd add to my site for the sake of traffic if it ranked. It is not something I'd build a site around.

Well, you're right but I already build the site around "bet calculator" keyword. It's EMD and I hope I will rank faster with it. My idea is to get some flat payments if I can make hundread thousands visitors per month. I've heard that the big brands are ready to pay to sites with traffic only for brand recognition. But that's just guessing without any real experience. I hope I will not waste my time and money just for having site with traffic and nothing else..
