possible stolen email list
It has come to my attention that some individuals out there are purporting to have a database of the site www.CasinoGames.com , including the players email and passwords and are actively trying to sell them.
As manager of this site I can assure you this list has NEVER been available for sale. Although we do not know if this indivual(s) actually has this list we want all parties to know that this is a stolen or fake list. We have no evidence that the database has been compromised but the offer to sell the database is being made.
We are contacting our attorneys to follow up on this matter and would appreciate any assistance. If you have been contacted in regards to this list can you forward this information to me at brian@casinogames.com so we can stop this illegal action. This can only hurt all of us in our industry if hackers continue to steal our property. In addition, those who purchase these lists will now be Spamming to them which will only further hurt our image.
I thank you in advance for your assistance,
Brian

I swear - If it's not one thing, it's another, isn't it?
Thanks for the alert, I'll make sure I point this out to the members inside the private forums. Good luck with it.

hi,
someone has contacted me regarding this list
right now I only have his icq number which is: 347350685 (maybe I have the history of the conversations at home - I'm not sure, but I remember he told me the company name somewhere in the UK)
I suggest you contact him directly by ICQ and pretend to be a potential customer trying to get as much info as possible
note: this happened around 4-5 months ago

Don't you guys have sleepers in your mailing lists to alert you to its illegal use?

that's the one
yes this was out of the UK and i have contacted them, said they had no idea it was a stolen list and have agreed not to continue, but I need to monitor this.
Ace regarding seeding the list we do, gets much more difficult to track this way as even sleeper emails are getting pounded with spam.
Thanks for the input folks.
Brian
