New Casino Site Feedback

Having focused mainly on sports since I started I've decided to move more towards gaming this year to diversify.

Initially I am targeting newer casino sites (https://www.newcasinosites.co/) hence the name, and before rolling out more sites I want to ask for feedback from casino affiliates who's opinion matters, i.e. GPWA members.

I do not like the header NewCasinoSites.co in italic. It reminds me posters I did 25 years ago in win 3.1. Same font, but bold or superbold/wide bold would be better.
The rest looks ok or I do not feel experienced enough to comment it.

Overall, I think your site looks good. You’ve managed to keep it consistent (the style) and thorough (simple and straightforward and it’s easy to follow through with) all throughout your pages. I also like how you’ve got a blog page. Good luck.

The variety of casinos is too huge on the homepage, you should minimalise the text there and focus more on the design of the homepage

Hi - I think it looks good. Personally I think you'll need a comparison list instead of / as well as the more long-form review on your home page. Or at least add in some quick 'highlights' in bullet point for each casino - i.e. best for ... fast cashouts, big game selection. That kind of thing. Also, I think people want to see at a glance what games they can play and which providers are supplying each site. So might be worth trying to get that in.

I like the design / icons etc. too. Nice and simple. Great URL too. Do EMDs still work?

You went for a clean design but to me it looks like it's from 2005.

I don't understand the long pages. It makes it difficult for me to know where I am, there's no navigation, and every page ends with the same passage. I'm forced to either Claim an offer or read through an enormous page - there's nowhere to click to learn more about the casino.

This site can't rank for any keyword, I assume you're sending traffic that's ready to convert to it and you only need a landing page with CTAs. Yet you went with an EMD. And no logo.

If I'm already in the mood to Claim an offer I don't want to read through an entire description of the casino. If, on the other hand, I want to know more and read a review before I deposit my money, I got nowhere to click. And the descriptions themselves are no good - they're too vague and not giving any key points I'd be interested in, e.g. number of slots, names of slot developers. All this is a bit too vague:

Is it 120 spins? Once or can I get that every week?

It just doesn't work for me. Sorry mate. It's just a strange website from an UX perspective, at least in my opinion. Maybe you've discovered a way to convert like crazy and I'm an idiot.

But I guess there's a reason all the big websites that we know are converting like crazy are all using pretty much the same structure. And it's not this one.

I wasn't sure who the site is aimed at.

The current content makes the assumption the player really knows about the things you write about. It assumes they know what slots are provided by which suppliers and why knowing who owns the casino may be important. White Label and other industry terms are only really relevant to Affiliates and Players who really know there stuff.

If you're aiming for players who don't know much then you need to provide a lot more basic information that will be relevant to them. And then think about, as Dan says, things that will convert them.

I like the idea of having a site about new casinos. Think about why someone might want to try a new casino and not an established one. provide content that helps them make that decision.

I'm the last person to give anyone advice on design. I'll leave that to others

Dan, I doubt there will be anything I can do to make this site meet your approval but I thank you for your honesty in any case.

Casinonmark, something I am deliberately trying to do is avoid long reviews and yes I very much do hope EMD's still work.

I agree with your Sherlock the header / logo is dated and was mainly a placeholder. I will be getting this redone once I've ironed out some of the more critical issues.

One further question I wanted to ask if any of you thought the bonuses page (https://www.newcasinosites.co/bonuses/) would be better as the home page in light of some of the comments here?

To determine if a good about us sectio helps or not i would recommend a look into Google s quality raters guidelines or the 23 questions by amit singhai.

Also authority and trust are made up crap by the snake oil SEO industry. Google is looking for unique stuff; and the majority have no clue what this word really entails.

Raters guidelines are meant to make the web documents better, which works for the overall ecosystem. However, has also nothing to do with rankings.

This requires a certain rating system and assessment. Players love to give feedback. I also liked the fact that you have a blog / news site. Perhaps it makes sense to make one the most important news and display it on all the main pages of the site.
