Default Probably a stupid question, but...

Is there anything (aka: fineprint) that prevents a webmaster that promotes casino affiliates from playing at that affiliate? For example, River Belle (whom I promote heavily) has a $25.00 no deposit bonus and I think a 300% match bonus. Now, as a webmaster that promotes them... can I click on the link from my site and then take advantage of those bonuses like any other player?

I want to accomplish a couple things with this. First off, I've gotten 15 downloads of River Belle and 9 opened accounts over the past two months but ZERO deposting players. I'm suprised by the number, so I want to DL the software and play for real and see what it is that's detering people from depositing (and also make sure it registers the sign-up). Can anyone let me know if this is something that webmasters can do? Thanks!

    Some properties strictlyforbid this.

When in doubt read the affiliate terms of service.

I do not know if Referback allows it or not.

    Exactly.

Some will crack down on you hard and others will let it slide. They all generally frown upon it. Read the terms and conditions closely.

Default Not a bad question.. Here's what I think.

Regardless if you could.. but think about if you would really want to.
Most of the bonuses that I know about have high play through requirements.. to make sure that during fair play the basic statistics suggest that the player would lose sum of the deposited funds, but not all.

Also, Let's say you did win. It would be self defeating because if your depositing player wins.. then the casino doesn't get a profit from that player.. and depending on the affiliate program you would have a negative balance..

I really think your on your way CasinoDawg.. lol.. good luck.

Don't be surprised that you have no depositing players even if you have some opened accounts. If there is no deposit bonus, majority of players will only open the account and play this bonus.

I also have very low conversion ratio at casinos with no deposit promotions

Thanks for the replies. I think I will now pass on signing up as a depositng player. I'll stick to the free registration and get more familiar with some of the games so I can add that content to my site. I am thinking about shaking up my casino partners now and trying to go with some different groups. Maybe it will help me to gain more conversions. Anyway, thanks everyone.
