    Default Promotional text and SEO

    Hi all,

I've searched for all over for info for this but it's all in vain.

My question is about promotional text - like the ones from bet365 for example. It comes in a javascript and reads like regular text with the text links embedded for your aff id.

Is this bad for SEO? IE, duplicate content (with potentially so many others using it?

Thanks ( there's literally nothing on GPWA about this)

In my opinion it's not great for your site, but if it's the only bit of "duplicate" content on a larger page I doubt it will sink the ship.

Personally I'd rather just control what goes in the text myself. Then I don't have to worry about it. Keeping JS to a minimum is never the worst thing either.
Feel free to PM with mutually beneficial opportunities; we do not sell links on our sites. Some sample pages: sell PokerStars tournament dollars| Rush poker
