Hi all,
read all the way thru the 3 pages to find out it had been closed. Now I don't see a new thread with Randy's name on it. I hope we haven't missed out on what was a great opportunity.

Almost Here! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? I've a plan that can make that happen and it will likely also tell you every time the player is active within the casino.

Why is Carmela an affiliate program with one post? Just curious.
This is randy's actual site http://www.pokerseo.org/ - And yes he is a complete and utter legend - I think only met him once (in Miami a few years ago) but have listend to him on various radio stations as well as read almost all his posts and have zero doubt that he is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable poker affiliates out there.
He also has what can only be described as my favourite accent![]()

I'm quite not convinced that his too good as an SEo though. Having his sites just having PR2 though they have good contents. Or maybe he doesn't have time to optimize his own websites.
Can't really comment on that specifically but I wouldn't measure it on PR - I know lots affiliates that make way more and rank for some serious terms with extremely low pr sites.
He did consult for PokerStars doing their SEO so must be half decent
Check out some of his posts at PAP or PAL or listen to some of his radio shows

Hi Steve - Long time no chat
yes Randy is still doing it as far as I know
Raphnix - If you consider PR as a way to measure someone's success, you will gain quite a bit from reading Randy's posts.
Look guys Steve opened this thread to ask about Randy because the other had been closed. Just because some feel that they dont need Randy's help, others may want it and you should respect that.
I'm asking the GPWA mods to make sure this thread doesnt turn out like the last one.
People who are serious about SEO measure their success based on how well their pages rank for their target phrases. They also measure their success based on how much traffic their sites get. I don't know any serious SEO who cares more about toolbar PR than they do about rankings and traffic.
Randy
Well put. When I stopped worrying about PR and focused on keyword rich, pertinent content and gaining ground in serps, things started happening. If someone thinks thinks that pr=traffic, consider this. I have a pr2 site that gets less than 1/4 the traffic my pr1 site gets.
I have pages at pr0 that get higher traffic than pr1 and pr2 pages too. But, those pages have longtails that rank very high. I will take a #1 listing over pr any day of the week.
Randy, I hope you won't let the boobirds keep you from dropping by and posting up some useful info for us.

Calling Randy Ray a spammer is like calling Santa Claus stingy. What absolute horse ****. I am very angry about this. Randy has been a friend of mine since we started in this industry. He's excellent at SEO, has never, ever spammed and earns SERPS for his sites the old fashioned way - via QUALITY content.

For gambling I think PR2 is more than adequate these days .Back in 2006 there were so many pr5 and pr6 websites but with the changes we seen in 2007 the page ranks have fallen right across the board.SEO people with big budgets to blow usually have higher pages rank but I don't think it is required to turn a profit.
