I bought an exact-match domain for a high-KD keyword that had almost no direct competitors using the exact brand/domain. I built the entire website around user intent and used AI throughout my workflow from planning and content production to SEO optimization.

My biggest win has simply been productivity. Tasks that used to take months now take hours, which means more time can be spent on strategy, technical SEO and analysing what's actually working.

Productivity is through the roof also, but you have to assume it's the same for all competitors. Market just got a lot more competitive.

A bit late to this one but it is the thread I have been most interested in.

Most of the AI talk I see is about production, and I would echo GlobalPokerSites there. The productivity gain is real, but everyone has it, so it does not feel like much of an edge on its own.

The thing that has surprised me is not AI as a tool, it is AI as a traffic source. Assistants are now a far bigger share of my traffic in my main market than across the site as a whole. Roughly a quarter of sessions there, against under a tenth sitewide. I did nothing deliberate to cause that.

So my honest answer is that my biggest AI win this year was something I did not plan and only noticed when I went looking. Not the workflow, the channel.

Still fairly new at this so take it for what it is worth, but I would be interested to hear whether anyone else is seeing assistants turn up as a real share of traffic rather than just a production tool.

AI makes SEO faster, but it also makes the competition tougher. The real challenge now is creating something genuinely useful and different.

Also the barrier of entry for competitors is so low. You don't need a team of employees anymore, can all be managed by agents who are managing themselves.

I'm not sure I'd call this a "win" in the traditional sense, although it feels like one. I think the biggest benefit has been being able to research, learn, and figure things out much faster. I'm not the most tech-savvy person, and that used to limit me in some tasks. Sometimes I'd avoid or outsource them because of the time and effort involved.

Now I can ask AI to explain things in simple terms, walk me through the process, suggest different ways of approaching a problem, and identify blind spots. And even though I wouldn't say AI has directly made me money through SEO, my numbers are better because it helps me cut my expenses.

Good job, I agree and I'm doing a similar if not the same thing right now. The only downside is that we are becoming Ai routers and we don't want that. I want to use Ai to increase my SOPs, production and improve my workflows and I find it super useful, especially when it comes to making briefs for writers. As long as we can have ai do the heavy lifting go through hundreds of pages but always have a human reasoning in the end all is perfect and good.
