    Default Question about big winners

I've just been reading the thread about big winners and the problems that they can cause, and a question occured to me.

Suppose I have a player that wins say $50,000. Well at my level of play, that will bomb me completely for that month = I've no problem with that, it's in the rules. But what happens next month. My negative gets wiped, and the player has got $50,000 in his pot. Now if he withdraws $30,000 of that to his bank and carries on gambling with the rest, do I get a share of his losses on the retained winnings?

    Thank you, Trish!!

Ace, I assume you're talking about my situation with Cirrus that's posted in the Player's Forum? With any reputable program you're going to get paid on that money.

    Hey guys,

Well I cant let CPS get away with a plug without adding my two cents

You will get credit with us too Ace. We actually had the exact situation happen to an affiliate in their first month promoting us and all was paid (He made about $15K off the player) - the affiliate I believe is a GPWA member and can verify. Those are the rules!

    Have a fantastic week!!

    Cheers...

That was what prompted the thought, but the question was a bit more general I guess.

I also started thinking about the Microgaming progressives. Presumably a big win comes out of Microgaming's pot rather than the casino's, but I guess that still comes off our total. It'd be a great promo line though, so I guess we could make the month's missed payments back pretty quickly.

Yeah, the neg for one month is nothing compared to the long term income you stand to make!

Thanks Garth - I see you're still hanging on to my big player. How about letting him win a milion or two, so I can pick up the extra next month.

Hi Garth - how you doing?? I wish every casino program considered the long term ramifications of their behavoir. Unfortunately, some of them learn the hard way, I guess.

When a player hits a Microgaming progressive, I didn't think that payout was counted against the casino or affiliate?

Just so you guys know, Cirrus owes me $23,900+ and has offered to pay me $5100 - but they can't even seem to do that.

    I still haven't decided.

Did you see my question up there? >> When a player hits a Microgaming progressive, is that payout counted against the casino or affiliate?

Actually, no, not with CPS. Cindy, you are right, affiliates are not negatively affected by progressive winners.

If a player hits a progressive jackpot game and is tagged to you with our program the only effect it has on you is the awesome "Jackpot Winner sent by us" tagline you can add to your site!!

I keep an eye on major Jackpot wins on all of our client casinos and will let you know if you have a big winner come through - big winners make great selling points for your site and I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help you capitalise on it!

Of course, you have to enter the "club" before I can send you any!
