Question Question: Do Sports Programs *Always* Have Negative Carryover?

I'm not exactly a "freshman" when it comes to promoting gaming, but I do have a question about sports betting programs that seems to belong in this part of the forum. So my question is, when it comes to sports betting programs, do they always have negative carryover as a standard practice, or is that not so? I'm under the impression that they all do that for sports betting.

Betting is not my forte as well, but I would be careful with no NCO when promoting bookmakers.

I don't like it period, but it seems that with sports I have frankly never even seen or heard of one that does not do NCO. I haven't exactly looked that hard either, but presumably there are people here who know all about that niche and what they all do.

Would it be accurate to say almost all do and only a small % do not?

    yes

and the trend is to abandon it or the programs that had it are long gone

I think Interwetten had it and maybe still have it. I promote them but never looked in detail.

In the past I have seen pretty much of them having it. Lasseters tried it with sportsbook, I think Bowmans had it, Expect definitely had it. It used to be quite popular in ancient Australia: IAS, Canbet had it I think. Centrebet was on it 100%.

I am almost sure Unibet had it in the past and since they are not bitches, I think I am still on NCO with them, but did not have negative month for years.

Sportingbet had it and I think at least during some period it had betfair fixed odds and willhill as well, but there were other problems with those.

I believe betboo has it still, but I think they went rogue.

99% are having NCo. For me, it is the better way."Soft" bookies which are not having it can close your account for no reason. NCO in long period is the guarantee that you will stay and stickup by building a good reputation.
Bet365 are having it since the beginning.

Yes, this is the more sensible way to go about getting things done the right way.

Its always best to negotiate with the bookie. If you don't ask, you don't get.

There's certainly a trend towards NCO and some of those that don't impose it as a rule have a clause in their T&Cs which entitle them to apply it as they see fit. With margins being squeezed I can't see this trend changing any time soon I must say.

An interview with Rostick, where he says that he is very satisfied working with OHMBET that don't have NCO. Just check it.

Paddy Power and Betfair also have NCO but I believe there's quite a few that do not. Or do CPA instead.
