Question regarding site source code

Installed Autoptimize plugin to speed up the site and it changed the source code of the site to appear differently (http://www.slotmachinesonline.co/) . Someone knows if it might have negative effect on how Google sees it?

Hi, it depends in which way the source code was changed. It could be improved so that it can be good for your SEO or not. Can you give some information what exactly changed? f.e. it can have a positive and / or negative effect when H1, H2 and so on changed or this tool changed the content structure or internal linking in some way. There are many factors involved to answer this question.

if you check the link above, if you do page source, it doesn't show all the code in a regular way. I don't think it changed any h1 h2 tags and so forth. But it looks like some short version and not the full regular way.

If all it did was strip white space and concatenate CSS and JS files then it won't affect anything for search engines unless they count page load speed as a ranking factor.

I notice you use the wp-super-cache plugin. If you haven't updated it recently, do it asap as a critical vulnerability was discovered yesterday which can allow an attacker to gain administrative access to your site. I would question whether you should be using that plugin at all based on the amateurish code that caused the vulnerability.

Indeed they count page speed as ranking factor. It is one of the strongest factors. Much more important than all those h2 things etc. from ancient seo times.

Its a very important to make sure your pages are load fast regardless the fact Google is considering this on its algorithm. think about your users always.
I close a page that not loading after 3 seconds almost instinctively!
