Default How can I monetize Norwegian traffic?

If you look to my signature, you will see a Norwegian casino page. Back in the Betsson days, this site earned fortune, but since everybody I know pulled away from Norway, I am promoting crypto and other alternative operators with conversion rate as good as zero. Am I missing something or Norway is really a no go zone anymore?

One of the best things you can do in this situation is go and find the top ranking competitors to your site and see who they're promoting. That should give an idea of who is working in the market.

I have already seen some positive reviews of 22bet on GPWA, in terms of partnerships. How about their availability? They have so many mirror sites that it's hard to figure out, and the languages on the site and the terms and conditions don't tell the whole story.

Are they available in Asia and Europe? China, HK, India, Japan, UK, Spain, France, Portugal?

My "go to" choice! Yes, ton of mirrors, but thats needed if you work in named regions.
Very responsive support, one time payments.
In combination with brands like betwinner, dafabet and some usa offshore brands u can actually convert everywhere.

sorry to divert the thread, but which geos are betwinner and dafabet worth of promotion?

mirror sites of 22bet exist exactly for the reason to go around country blocks; without smart books and casinos, who can play this game well, it is impossible to make any business on regulated markets

i have very strong 20bet in Czechia for example, which is defacto a closed market where the local oligopoly swallowed the market

In order not to open a new topic, and the topic of 22BET has already been raised.

Do you know of any similar bookmakers that operate in a similar manner, i.e. multiple mirror sites, redirects, etc.?

I know there are several such bookmakers, but how about reputation? Which ones are worth paying attention to?

I know about 20BET, the same company as 22BET.

It would be nice if they accepted players from France, but not necessarily.

Norway’s gambling is still alive, just not the same as before,it’s really hard to promote unlicensed crypto casinos now because of new blocks on payments and websites, these days,it makes more sense to focus on legal sites like Norsk Tipping or safe international options, things like SEO or working with influencers can still help you with that

The Norwegian government is actively working on DNS blocks of crypto & online casinos + IPs and payments to Norwegian bank accounts (deposits/withdrawals) - it has been ongoing for a while. So I would eventually shift focus to other GEO's, or research different brands with a Norwegian IP (VPN) to see if they are blocked or not, and you can eventually start promote those that are not blocked (yet).

    Hi!
I have like many others have had sites in Norway that worked good back in the days! Do anyone know if you can bet from Norway this days with VPN on some Sportsbooks other than Norsk Tipping? I had some plans to re-enter the market and wonder if that is worth it. Many Norweigans I met are crazy about gambling. And I do think they still are

Norway isn't dead, but it's become a "verify everything monthly" market rather than a set-and-forget one.
    Three things from recent experience:

    1. You don't need VPN guesswork for the blocks — Lotteritilsynet publishes the full DNS blocklist as an open CSV on lottstift.no, updated in batches (47 sites blocked mid-2025, 134 more this February, 238+ now). I check every brand I work with against it monthly. Found three on it last week that portals were happily still tracking clicks for — clicks that died at the door.
    2. The quieter conversion killer is payment rails, not DNS. Brands running NOK-native cashiers with Trustly Pay-N-Play still convert; EUR-only card brands lose people at the deposit screen even when the domain resolves fine.
    3. Counter-intuitive one: our Norwegian-language pages have never ranked — the aged .no domains own those terms. English-language pages targeting Norwegians rank far faster and carry essentially all our Norwegian traffic. Norwegians search in English constantly; the competition there is much thinner.

The tax angle (EEA-licensed = tax-free winnings vs the 10,000 kr rule) is still a real content lever too, though the pool of EEA brands accepting Norwegians is thin and shrinking.
