Recommendations for live casinos

I'm considering adding a 'Live Casino' section to my site, but would welcome some feedback from you guys first

How are you finding Live Casino promotions and which programs would you recommend that I sign up with?

Hi Simon,

My opinion may be slightly biased as I promote Castle Affiliates but I would certainly recommend adding a live casino section to your site.

I started in the gambling industry with a simple live casino site (liveroulette.co.uk) which did really well and have been going forward in the industry ever since. Live dealer casinos, although becoming mainstream, are still something that a lot of gamblers haven't experienced before. When they do discover them they often trust the gameplay a lot more than RNG software therefore feel a lot more comfortable depositing larger sums. As well as this I would regard the gameplay as more exciting. It all adds up to a larger player value for affiliates which is great.

I have worked with the worst and the best of them and would recommend the following:

Castle Casino Affiliate Program (dur )
Celtic Casino and Fairway Casino - these guys work under the same software as us (VIG) and I know they do an excellent job at player conversion/retention as I have worked with them from both angles.
Lucky Live Casino - Under the same affiliate arm as Celtic Casino however with Vuetec software, they are Live Casino Partners on this forum.
DublinBet Casino - Not really worked with DublinBet until lately however there aff manager is on the ball and they are a really trusted brand.

I'd also add bet365 affiliates to that list - not known for their live casino product however the revenue from them has been suprisingly excellent.

Hi Simon,

I think it is a good idea that you add this category as there is certainly a growing interest in this type of gaming, especially by more mature and higher value gamblers.

I have been focused on live gaming for just over 4 years now, and am still surprised at how high the conversion rates have been, (consistently over 32% from affiliate driven traffic) as well as the average player value (over 1,300 euros and growing).

Dave Merry listed a good start (thanks Dave!), as those sites represent the largest live gaming providers, but you may also want to mention some of the sites like William Hill and Sportsbook.com (U.S.) that also offer these selections.

Are there any US Friendly live casinos or are they all just focused on the European market atm?

Yes, there are several including Oddsmaker, Sportsbook.com, 5Dimes and JustBet. There are a couple of really good portals with lists including live-dealer-casino.co.uk and livedealercasino.org. Several others of course if you do a Live Dealer search. They use different software platforms of course so check them out before you decide which to push.

I'd echo Dave's points about the conversion of players from RNG to live, once players have experienced the live gaming environment, (especially from a real casino ) my perception is that they'll continue to play there, so player retention is pretty high.

Also, the live gaming undoubtedly adds another layer to the experience of playing online and you can see that more and more 'mainstream' sites like Bet365 and William Hill are adopting the technology. Whether it will be a passing fad remains to be seen but it appears to me that 'live' is the way things are headed in the industry.

As for affiliates though I think it still remains a bit of niche and to be honest niches are always hard to find. I still come across many Casino affiliate sites who don't have a live section. I think it's important for affiliates to get in this space early before it becomes the norm.

The live casino niche is growing extremely rapidly these last few years. It compliments pretty much any gambling site and will certainly add value to your players.

Even though there are quite a few online casinos that offer live dealer games there are very few that actually target the live gaming niche. Dave's list would be my list as well. I have lots of experience from both side of the affiliate model and I can assure you that in my experience the casinos that Dave has mentioned convert better, retain more, and are easy to deal with. When I mean easy, I pretty much mean you'll get paid on time, and never have to contact them because they are perform as they should. lol.

By reading the above you may think I'm sugar coating the listed programs because I'm familiar with the programs administrators (Castle, Fairway, LiveCasinoPartners, and Dublinbet). These guys have earned any decent comments I could throw their way. I can't tell you how many programs I used to work with that don't pay on time, never respond to emails, or close their programs without warning. You know how it is. When you have a family you can't afford to invest your time in programs that will not be there for you.

The list is short.

The only program I would add to the list would be paddypowercasino. I like their software and they pay well too.

I've been promoting Dublinbet, Fairway, Castle and Lucky Live/Celtic with LCP for a while now.
All great programs to work with particularly as live gaming is their focus...so promotions and marketing initiatives are very live dealer centric.

There are also plenty of big brand operators jumping into this area that you should look at. Their live casinos are more of an ancillary part of their overall operation but some are starting to push them actively with stand alone live casino sections on their websites and regular promotions. Paddy Power, bet365, 888.com, William Hill and Betsson are all worth having a look at.
