Reconciling Payments

I am wondering if others have the same issue as I do and how they reconcile payments.

We receive payments, typically through bank wire, however it is very difficult to determine which program the payment came from. The details or memo of the transaction received by the bank really does not mean anything. How do others reconcile the payments received to the actual program?

Personally anything that I'm unsure of regarding affiliate payments, I'll just follow up with my account managers to confirm. I can usually tell who it's from by the order in which I receive my monthly payments.
