I just wanted to say a public thanks for Gary for his help and advice. Not only during the recent migration of my one site, but for everything.

I have sent him PMs multiple times, and he has always answered my questions fulling and completely.

Whether it is his post of SEO tips or personal help, Gary has been someone I could call on. No question is a dumb one to him. He has no qualms about providing help to anyone for free.

I know there are many people here that offer help, and many that have provided assistance for my recent migration and other questions. I am not forgetting them. But Gary has really helped me on SO many levels, I thought it was necessary to pubically thank him.

This is truly a great site with people willing to help us novices and newbies. GaryTheScubaGuy is only one guy that deserves this recognition and one that has educated me immensely. It is people like Gary that make this forum such an asset in this niche!

Just thought I should chime in hear about Gary and came upon this thread. He has been a serious help to me with some issues and concerns I had on some pages on one of my websites. He took the time to check everything out and give me some long, in-depth replies via PM on how to solve some of these problems and how they needed to be addressed down the road.

He took a lot of time with these answers he gave me and I think they'll provide some great results for my pages and what I'm looking to accomplish on my portals. Thanks again Gary for your insight and the 4 or 5 replies you gave me, along with all the different suggestions and protocols I should be following when it comes to linking structures and geo-targeting. I know I was quite a pain, lol.

i dont know if i should post this or not but few weeks ago i asked a very simple question to gary and he didnt reply me or just say that he cant help. i understand SEOS are very busy people, but anyways just he wasnt helpful to me.

I'm not Gary's mouth piece but if you take a glance over those who have praised his personal help on many occasions, you'll find they'll private members.

Not that I'm saying Gary doesn't help public members - he does, there are oddles of threads from him with a heap of useful and relavent SEO info.

Although I am happy to help public members, I'm more inclined to give private members one on one help. The way I see it, anyone who is a private member has taken the next step at the GPWA. To me it shows they're seriously interested in becoming involved in the GPWA.

No offense intended to anyone but it's time consuming giving one on one help. Granted everything is a risk but least with a private member they're not as likely to just get some info and disapear.

I see you've been a public member since 30'th Oct 2010, have you applied for private membership? If not, why not?

Whilst I'm here, I took a glance over your home page source code. I'll give you some SEO pointers:

Optimal title length for Google: 60 characters (your title 71).

H tags: More doesn't mean better.

H1 tag are used to renforce what the content of your page is about.
I personal don't use any more than one H1 tag per page. I advise you or anyone else to do the same.

H2 tag are a sub heading of your main page content. Again I'm not overally keen on using more than one H2 tag per page.

H3 tag, say you site's about online casinos, you could use H3 tags for casino game headings (eg video poker et al). Multiple H3 tags can be used on one page, but be sensible about it. Just like it's a no no to keyword stuff it's also a no no to H tag stuff too.

The there are H4, H5 and H6 tags...But generally I only use H1, H2 and H3.

NB - if your page doesn't have content to place into a H3, then it's ok not to use them. But I advise using the H1 tag on every page and also a H2.

Keeping a structured hierarchy of H tags is important to your on page SEO.

Right now you page looks like a dogs breakfast with multiple H1 tags etc...etc...fix these up and you'll find your SEO efforts will improve.
Of course there are many other things involved in SEO but without the basics your not doing yourself any favours.

thanks aussie for your help. i didnt have any intention to attack gary.. as indeed he helps people if time permits and thats understandable.. and i do understand this.. the only reason i havent applied for private membership as my website is not complete 100%. i am planning to complete very soon and then i will apply for private membership. and thanks for giving advise regarding H tags.
