Referback - Put on 25% and held hostage

After being on a 35% program I see now I am on 25%, AM said I was placed back down to 25% and my deal was removed October 2012! This of course was not told to me as I would have not promoted a 25% deal at all. So now they say I can get 35% with top placements only! LOL... I gave them a great ranking position in my rogue casino list, another Microgaming did this as well but they have asked for a week to resolve. Are all Micros going rogue now?

This must be the fashionable thing to do this month. We've had two programs (not Microgaming but will leave them unnamed) who had decided to (without any type of notice - before or after) decide to change our payment. One of them claimed they contacted us regarding an "across the board" adjustment to special deals only to figure out that they had not contacted us.

In both cases, the situation was resolved, as we were willing to pull all affiliate links and adjust our recommendations accordingly if the payment was not restored to previous levels.

You'll probably agree that the program is within their rights to open up discussions to adjust "special payment arrangements" in the future (i.e. - coming to you and saying "35% is not going to work here, can we do something different?" or "How can we make this work?"). However, a program IS NOT within their rights to go in and change compensation without mentioning.

I've just added them to a brand new site of mine. Won't hesitate to pull them off if things aren't rectified soon.

I think this AGD post only refers to not applying the term about withholding payment if you don't get any new players
