Income Access Flaw - Please get it fixed ASAP

Some time ago, I discovered a flaw in the Income Access system. I wrongfully assumed it was fixed. Anyway, here's the background:

We were on a hybrid deal (CPA + commission) for some time. After discussions with our program's AM, we had our deal adjusted (CPA portion was removed and the commission was increased).

The commission was adjusted appropriately in the system. However, the players who were under the old hybrid deal did not continue earning for us. When running the player report, I was able to see that the players still earned, but we were not being credited with the earnings.

More specifically, players deposited, played and generated results in "gross revenue" and in "net revenue". However, the amounts did not transfer to the "average revenue", "% commission" or "total commission" columns.

Moreover, when the end of the month payment reports were run, the payment did not take into consideration the amounts these players generated.

We brought the issue to the attention of our AM. With the help of our AM and more so the manager of the program, we did in fact receive proper compensation and I believe that the problem with that specific program has been fixed - though I am not sure if all players were simply migrated to the new commission structure and untagged for the old one or what the exact fix was. I just know there's no longer an issue with that specific program from the best I can tell.

Now enter program #2 and problem #2...

A few days ago, I posted about stats issues I've been noticing off and on with many different Income Access sites. These IA stats issues on the day I noticed coincided with further issues on one program in particular.

On 2 September, I noticed that we were unable to see "Program commission structure" in the "My account" queue of the menu. At the same time, this program is showing 0 commissions despite showing that we're earning gross and net revenue. To the best of my knowledge, our commission has not been changed --- at least, we were not notified of a commission change --- but I'm no longer able to see the commission structure within the reports to confirm if the setting was changed.

I suspect it was (perhaps accidentally) changed, as the symptoms are nearly the same.

Anyway, I understand that CPA only players should not come across on rev share, as one has theoretically already been paid for CPA players if they're on a CPA only deal. However, a CPA only deal is very much different from someone who is on a hybrid deal (CPA+rev share). With that in mind, why is there a flaw in logic that prevents a CPA+rev share player from tracking when the account is changed to straight rev share?

All due respect here, but I expect more from a platform that is tasked with accurately tracking player activity and earnings. I can understand this being an unexpected 1 time glitch but the first time I noticed this type of problem was months ago --- and yet, the glitch still exists. I hardly believe I'm the only one who noticed it.

I strongly suggest that affiliates take a good look at player activity in their IA powered accounts to ensure they're being fairly and properly compensated --- especially those of you who are on a special deal for the first three months and then your deal falls back down to Earth, or if you were on an enhanced deal of any sort for a period of time (a special promotion), or if your compensation has changed recently, or if your stats look a bit lower than you expect.

If any of that applies to you or if you're at all concerned, go through your player report with a fine tooth comb and if there's any irregularities, open a dialogue with your affiliate manager.

And with respect to IA, I look forward to seeing and hearing that this glitch is getting fixed.

Hi Shay,

When an affiliate manager is setting up a revenue share commission structure, they have the choice to either include or exclude CPA players (so any players that have already triggered a CPA).

If they choose to exclude, than no future revenue share commissions will be earned, and if they do not choose to exclude, than that player will earn revenue share moving forward. This functionality is in place to allow operators to set up commission structures that allow for both.

The above situation is a matter of set up rather than a glitch in the software.

In my most recent case, this is strange then - as "nothing has been changed with your commission structure" is what we're being told by Gala Partners (which I know IA does not manage).
