Question Regulating body in Germany (?)

    Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to understand which governmental body/organisation in Germany is the one responsible for issuing licenses to (casino/sports..) operators as part of the regulation getting in to force in July 2021.

Also, when an operator receives a license, is it valid for all German stats or only the sate where it received the license?

    Thanks

Hesse as been commissioned by the other federal states to issue licenses to private providers for all of Germany. Last week, Darmstadt Regional Council granted 15 private permits to offer sports betting. The licenses enable providers to offer bets on Sports-betting nationwide. Online, and in betting shops!

I assume you mean "Hessen" the German state?
And about " Darmstadt Regional Council",
Is this their site URL? https://eah.hessen.de/english/point-...ional-councils
