Looks good for me as it is short and could be easily memorised. But you don't need to run after keywords in domains )

    Hi Santomarco,

For me, in 2017th, Exact Match Domain it's a really bad idea for multiples reasons.

    1. If you create backlinks to your website, you make over-optimisation SEO of your anchor text and that's really bad for your future search engine ranking.

    2. With "keywords domain", you can't create a community.
    - "Hello, i'm a new member of SpinsFree.co.uk".
    - "What, do you speak about FreeSpin.com ?..."
    - "No, I speak about SPinsFree.co.uk"...(I have alrealy a headache)

The best is create new brand like SpinsTwist or other name...It's my point of view.

I personally wouldn't go for that domain name. The keywords in a domain do have SOME influence in the keywords you will rank for. A website with mobile or bonuses within the domain name will be more prone to rank for those types of keywords. There is always an exception to this rule but I am speaking about majority. I wouldn't want to rank for anything free in the domain name because the traffic may not not convert well. I have had great success in the past with exzact keyword domain names but it does seem to take longer to get there though. Not all make it; but if you do, it can bring in a ton of traffic. If it's a keyword rich domain name I would stick with branded anchor texts. Very few Free Spins.

You would be making a huge mistake using an awkward domain like that. "Free Spins" or "FreeSpin" yes, but not one like that. You would be much better off using a natural and longer "ExampleFreeSpins" or "ExampleExampleFreeSpins" phrase than something awkward and unnatural like that.

Regarding EMDs, there is a HUGE HARMFUL MYTH AND MISUNDERSTANDING that all of a sudden what are and have always been the most valuable and desirable type of domain names are somehow bad. In some cases this myth and misinformation has even taken the form of claiming you will receive a penalty merely for having or using one.

All of this is completely untrue.

All that has changed is merely that you will not receive the "almost and should be too good to be true" immediate advantage in search you once enjoyed with an EMD even if you have virtually no content at all. You will still have the normal huge competitive advantage, simply not the "almost and should be too good to be true" immediate SERP advantage with Google. You will still also have the "almost too good to be true" advantage with natural type-in traffic, however. Do you see the difference? It's not that you will be punished for using one of the still most valuable and desirable domain names in the world, merely that you will not be rewarded in a way that is so huge and so immediate up front regardless of content that you could put a single link and single banner up on a single page and immediately shoot all the way to #1 on page #1 of Google over and above well put together sites that have many pages and rich content.

But if you also make a good site with good content, then the best EMD's still give the super huge competitive advantage they always have and by their nature simply do enable.

Let me give you an example from my own experience, and frankly my own portfolio, which you can even see and verify for yourselves using Archive.org:

    AtlanticCityOnlineGambling (dot) com

Obviously, it doesn't get any better than that as an EMD for "Atlantic City Online Gambling."

So what was I doing with that domain in the past, when you did have the "almost and should be too good to be true" advantage in search?

Well, naturally I was enjoying the benefits of that state of affairs.

While so many others were working so hard to advance on horrible domains or even good domains but not as good, using content and whatever tricks and tweaks they were trying, and even creating some really great content rich sites, I was simply sailing along with VIRTUALLY NOTHING on it.

And what was the result of all that?

It dominated Page #1 of Google SERPs, all day, all the time. To the best of my recollection, it was virtually never below spot #2 or #3, and I'm fairly certain it was also at #1 on page #1 a lot too.

And what great rich content deserving of this automatic search advantage did I have on it?

I had a single banner I had made, and a single text link, both merely linking to another great EMD which itself merely only had a bunch of links and banners as well. You can see this using Archive.org or another screenshot history service. The only other links I had on it were essentially fake "window dressing" links which merely linked you right back to the home page you were on, i.e. AtlanticCityOnlineGambling. Here is an example from 2014 on Archive.org now:

    http://web.archive.org/web/201401012...egambling.com/

And that was all it took to dominate page 1. And all those links on the top and left were merely window dressing keeping you right where you already were no less.

So because it was such a great EMD, it leapfrogged every other site all the way to the top of page #1 on Google, and was for a time a nice little goldmine and oil well because of earnings occurring after people were merely linked to another great EMD also with virtually no content on it at all except for links and banners.

So Google apparently decided it didn't want to allow EMDs to dominate search results merely as a reward for existing that way. Fair enough.

    But...

One thing that can't be tweaked out of reality is the competitive advantage of natural type-in traffic, and natural domain search. What do I mean by "domain search"? I'll explain below.

    So...

When Google was also allowing you to see the exact search strings used by visitors in your traffic, guess what was also the great super valuable secret related to that information which was revealed?

The great secret was that visitors for online gambling are so focused, so targeted, and so motivated that when you have the best top-of-mind phrases involved, they not only search for the phrase itself, but they also search for the actual domain itself. Get the picture? And they not only search for the actual domain itself, but they are so focused and so targeted that they actually search for the domain in multiple exact match ways by merely adding spaces. So for example, not only do they search for exact top-of-mind phrases such as:

    "Atlantic City online gambling"

But they also frequently and apparently naturally search for the actual domain itself - because the concept of ".com" is so completely ingrained in people's consciousness - such as the following:

    "atlanticcityonlinegambling(dot)com"

    "Atlantic City onlinegambling(dot)com"

    "atlanticcityonlinegambling [space] (dot)com"

"AtlanticCity [space] online [space] gambling (dot)com"

    ...etc.

(In case it isn't obvious, by the way, I'm substituting "(dot)" here in this post for the "." for illustrative and other purposes, but when all this occurred it was of course the natural "." being typed.)

And a result this great EMD also even attracted the attention of someone representing a UK stock exchange listed company no less who tried to buy it then.

So the bottom line is that your site name is the very foundation of your business, it is your brand, and it still makes a world of difference. The competitive advantages are potentially incalculable. It is merely the case that you can't expect to automatically shoot to the top of page #1 on Google if you do not also make a decent site with decent content. But if you do make a decent site with decent content, then you are way ahead of the pack and most definitely can leapfrog the rest of the pack, both for search and the natural type-in advantage.

A really excellent and relatively recent blog post on this topic I also recommend for further reading is this one:

I agree that there is still an EMD bonus and that it is a myth that Google will penalize your domain only because it's an EMD. Google's fear mongering has worked well and now everybody seems to think that Google will penalize your domain/site only because it exists.

I don't agree with other parts of your post. "the great super valuable secret". I mean .. really ...?

I don't agree with other parts of your post. "the great super valuable secret". I mean .. really ...?
    Absolutely.

It is not even a matter of agreeing or disagreeing, as if it were an opinion or something, but that is merely the plain and sober facts.

In the past I have mainly only mentioned it in private discussion because frankly I did not even want people to know about it that widely. Keeping that secret to myself has enabled me to acquire a nice collection of some of the most valuable domains in the world, at least for the progressing and forward-moving US market especially. I was busy trying to "corner the market" as best as I could at least for "US online gambling" while witnessing this taking place in my traffic stats as I was still publishing as an affiliate myself. As a "gaming" publisher I'm on hiatus now, but I began with domain investing to begin with before that. So of this you can be sure - anything I don't sell, lease or do a joint venture with is intended for eventual use, or in my case re-use since I already published with a lot of it before.

So yes indeed casaffiliate, that is in fact the "great secret," because it sure seems as if most people don't really know about it, though I do sometimes come across some who do or "agree."

That is exactly what my traffic stats proved and revealed - not an opinion, not an idea, but those cold, hard, and highly revealing and lucrative facts about customers and visitors who are targeting online gambling.

And frankly, I would suggest then when you think about it for a bit, and put yourself in the position of being a customer rather than what we all really are, which is mainly business people and marketers in various forms, frankly it makes sense. It makes sense that if anyone is seeking out gambling on the Internet, or poker, or sports betting, that they are so focused, so targeted in what they are seeking, and so motivated that basically they are simply and completely determined to reach their goal. And that definite focus means being completely willing and apparently also even completely happy or even eager to search for and type out whatever that entails as the "top of mind" reality of the thing.

So one of the great elements of the "great secret" - and remember, I'm talking about this industry specifically and its subject matter - is that IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER HOW LONG THE AUTHORITATIVE SEARCH PHRASE IS. In fact, when it comes to "ONLINE GAMBLING," the mistaken and misguided myths and "rules" people normally believe and spread about urls and domain names do not apply. This is the industry where the exceptions to the "rules" apply. One of the great "myths" and "rules" for instance is something like "shorter is always better and more valuable than longer." Well, not in this industry especially, and also not in other industries as well. So the bottom line is that you are often better off with a longer domain name rather than a shorter domain name, for instance. For example, when people are looking for "online gambling" to participate in and spend their money on, they are not looking for just "gambling" - they are looking for "online gambling."

    So guess what that means?

It means that in this industry, you're actually probably much better off owning a longer domain like "OnlineGambling.com" than you are owning "Gambling.com," which I just read sold for $2.5 million. The very best of the best shorter ones like Casino.com, Slots.com, Poker.com, and Gambling.com are still obviously worth a fortune and millions each, and I would even agree that ones like Casino.com and Slots.com are at the very top. But aside from just the very few at the very top, in many cases the longer "top of mind" and natural authority phrase is actually often better and worth more than a shorter domain because of what the market is really wanting, targeting, and looking for. You're better off with the long natural "authority phrase" than a poor, awkward or weak shorter phrase in this industry any day.

And by the way, just for the record, $2.5 million was still a total "steal" for one like Gambling.com. Furthermore, $5.5 million for Casino.com and Slots.com were HUGE "steal" prices. I read a while ago that someone had gotten an asking price of $20 million for Poker.com, and that is really more in line with bare reasonable value for a domain like that, even with poker not presently being as popular as it was around ten years ago (which can certainly also change again). So the prices on those first three gems were deeply discounted bargains.

And as the evidence revealed to me over a long period of time before Google and then finally others decided to no longer allow you to see the search strings in your traffic logs, people are continually and apparently extremely willing or even eager to type out and search for authoritative subject phrases and titles no matter how long they are, such as "Atlantic City online gambling" and "Atlantic City online gambling (dot) com" and the very domain "atlanticcityonlinegambling(dot)com" itself - in this very particular and second most lucrative industry online. They are not looking for slick fancy abbreviations - they are looking for exactly what the thing they are looking for is according to its normal phrase, and they want it in a very motivated way.

And now that I think of it, as another case in point regarding the "rules" and the "myths" and the "exceptions" about this subject, my company also even happens to have a .com which is known to have once even had a real $6.7 million bid on it at auction, is among the longest .coms you normally see, and includes even more words than the example above.

No, you've got it upside down. The EMD itself becomes and IS your brand foundation, combining the power of both brand and EMD benefits and advantages.

You should probably read something like this: The Extreme Power Of Generic Domain Names

The concept you are getting at is what is known and referred to as "brandable."

As in, you take a non-EMD and work to make and deploy it as your brand. Some domain names are certainly great for that, and I have some myself, but many and most are not, and one is taking a big risk unless one acquires the very best. It seems to be extremely easy to delude oneself as to what is good, however, which can lead to great disappointment, failure and expense. In many cases a great "brandable" is also really a "quasi" EMD to begin with anyway, like "Casino Red" for instance. Clearly it is part EMD/part "brandable" and not just pure "brandable." One is taking a HUGE risk if one merely chooses something that gives no at least partial-EMD indication whatsoever what it is about when one is using the "brandable" route, however. Remember, the few examples one can give of the biggest sites in the world that use purely "brandable" and essentially "made up" names are simply that - only a few. For those infinitesimal few that have risen to the top, there are countless "brandable" domain foundations that were built on sand and a ticket to nowhere.

I don't entirely agree with OP on this one. There are still plenty of big brands out there which have names you'd consider 'exact match domains'. For example, in the UK there is a flights company called 'Cheap Flights' - now I guarantee lots of people linked to them with the 'Cheap Flights' anchor and they have certainly turned out okay.

Where I'm sitting, Vegas.com is at #1 on Page 1 for unpaid results for a search on "Vegas": https://www.google.com/#q=vegas And one can come up with more and similar. It's really a no-brainer if one is not trying to cheat. With EMD, that's the point - you don't "need" to try to cheat (which people should not do to begin with even for their own sake).

What a great article on the subject:

$25,000 for a Domain Name is (not) Crazy.

"You see, domain names are not just a rare asset — a collectible or a modern art piece only a few will ever see. The right domain name can save you thousands (even millions) in marketing costs, help expand your brand authority, increase your brand recognition and make you and your company look smarter. In short, a domain name is everything."

I think it depends on the price.
The domain ain't bad, but I wouldn't rate it too high.

The main question is what kind of traffic you are looking to get. I assume you go for the organic search, and your main KWs would be "free spins %casinoname%."

If I absolutely wanted to have "free spins" in my domain, I'd go for freespins%something-short%.com / co.uk, %something-short%freespins.com / co.uk

    like a freespinsbee.com or msfreespins.com

P.S. if you look for a "spins" domain, make sure it has no "meat" in it, lol
