Interesting, looks like a good market to enter now
There is a lot of traffic volume, but value is extremely low.
Sports / football betting seems very popular - as you could see by all the football shirts in the BBC report.
However, the sophistication of the bettors is low, they want to win big using small stakes, so compile big 15-20 game combo / acca / parleys.
As was mentioned it seems to be a mindset of "When my Luck is in - then I will win big" ..
Big potential for problem gambling.

I'm all for the rise of mobile gambling in Kenya, especially after reading a recent story about a gambler who lost his bankroll, and was refused a credit advance by the casino manager. So he leaves the casino and comes back with a sword. He kills the casino manager and a security guard who tried to intervene. Then he gets chased down the street by a group of gamblers from the casino. They corner him and stone him to death. The police arrive after it's all over and pronounce him dead.
My Previous company just launched a Sportsbook there that seems to be hitting the highs so good luck to them.. Kenya comes with the Africa corruption issue so just be wary is all .. Fraud is rife
