Have you sold a gambling website?

Anybody has sold any gambling website in his life?

As you know I'm trying to sell my website but i don't really advance with it. I think that the site is cool also the price is really cheap but i don't get any serious interest about it. I'm trying to sell at this time on few forums only, tryed to put on ebay but was canceled.

Anyone sold a website?
If yes than where and how you did it?

Give me some advice please. Thank you.

Ohh.. forgot that unfortunately i have to sell it really fast in maximum 2 weeks.

I have not sold any, i have bought them, however i do it in private as that is how i prefer to do business.

It can be frustrating selling websites especially if you want a certain price for them as in this day and age there are not that many people out there with a lump sum to invest due to the recession and issues within the industry.

I wish you luck and and am sure that you will be able to find a buyer

Thank you for your answer and yes i know that that' selling website can be frustrating and not only can be since IT'S FRUSTRATING. Sold few sites in my life with different methods on different places, but with this Gambling site i can't do anything. Until now at least...

Try http://flippa.com/ - it's like ebay for websites. Haven't actually sold anything on there myself, but I've had a nosey around.

Try digitalpoint, I have seen prices range from 50 usd to 2 million plus...

I have sold two sites only , one was in 2007 for $3000 ,it was a bingo site and the other was just 2 months ago for very high $xxx,xxx which a casino group bought.
Here are some general tips that I found useful ,if you are going to sell affiliate accounts have the affiliate managers verify income directly with buyer/seller.They can generally give a good opinion of the accounts and the sustainability of the income.If you earn $10,000 a month on a site but don't plan to sell the account ,please do not expect a buyer to pay you $10,000x months ,the fair price is NEW account values x months.
I have bought accounts on their own and websites on their own and came to conclusion it is best to do all or nothing .The best markets are here , pokeraffiliatelistings.com or CAP .Flippa and sedo are good as well but generally you won't get a fast deal.Digitalpoint you will get maybe 50 cents on the dollar as everyone there is looking for deep discounts.

Thank you all. I looked today at flippa so maybe i will list it there but i also got a private message here that i should try at pokeraffiliatelistings.com so I'm making a thread now to check it out.

The site is listed on DigitalPoint from the start but i don't got any serious offers. The biggest offer was $350 LOLZ, also the site is listed at NamePros and on a Romanian webmastering forum to. I will try PAL-now and if don't works i move to flippa tomorrow or in 2 days.

Also i got an idea about the selling so today night i will try something extreme and will update here.

Thank you. Well i don't got the payment yet but i don't think that there will be any problem. I'm happy and sad in the same time and it's a bad situation.

But i have one suggestion for all off you. If you make a website you build it, and you care about it than DO NOT SELL IT, or if was made for a future sell then sell it in time and not when you are desperate to make some money.

Go Daddy has a blog for selling domains. If your site is already making money why would you want to sell anyway? If it isn't then sell the domain name.
