    Hi,

    I'm not so easily wooed.

Heres the rub; why (shatner length pause - smile) is it that these echecks are
1.) so prevalent - nearly ever webmaster I know has seen this to an extreme
2.) why is it only a problem for ..... only a handful of RTG casinos
    3.)

I had 9 depositors. This is good traffic. converts with never once a chargeback in all my time. can you believe it? yet here at SS, I have 9 frauds out of apparently 9 depositors.

and how did I end up -$522 considering all my players were frauds, they sure as hell didn't cash-out. WHere'd that money go?

and if you say chargeback costs; that's an awful lot of penalty for something that is obviously a plague to the industry.

9 out of 9 ........ and I've never once had a chargeback anywhere else. (that I know of), oops, I take that back. had one at brightshare once. of course, I"ve sent them around a 150 players.

Well, I know that if I had over $1800 in deposits and a negative balance due to what looks like creative bookkeeping, that casino wouldn't stay on my site very long.

    Darn it S

You gone and spoiled my fun

Actually, I have some news for you. I got an XL spreadsheet showing the breakdown of the players for you. This I got in ............. (deleted because you will kill me if you know how long I have had this). I should have forwarded it but forget in the wake of the legislation issues that dominated the board at the time. Guilty as charged your honor! The recon was done by RTG themselves (Peter queried it) and it transpires that you did have e-cheque fraudsters. These guys (and ladies) do this habitually and are a real pain. E-cheques are hard to monitor and in the interests of player relations, you allow immediate funding of the account but of course don't pay out until the deposit is cleared. Add to that the delay caused by slow processors and you have a hard to control situation. The XLS has player details and everything plus commentary for you to look at. Please e-mail me so I can reply and attach the spreadsheet for you.

I asked them why they allowed $250 E cheques and why they persisted in allowing these opportunities. Peter said that some of the biggest players came in through e-cheque and with players struggling to deposit nowadays, they allow this method in the interests of customer service.

I live in the hope that my $65 depositor at Silversands (Today) or my $50 depositor at Powerbet (Today) will turn into something more substantial. I find that my gazillion downloads at some casinos just don't look so good when the players can't get money into the account.

Enough though, I stand by these guys, you have my website addy and at the end of the day you can track me down. I won't run. I stand here before all and say that I reckon that they shoot straight and that they have made mistakes like any other but that they were genuine mistakes. I don't say they are perfect, but they are trying to do it all properly.

Time for some fun? Peter has been trying to contact you. You must have left a link up somewhere and you have had a player or two who lost their money. The phone number he has is invalid and the e-mail addy is not working neither. Please mail (remove the x) xpeter@silversandscasino.com with your contact details and banking details so he can pay you.
    Have a wonderful day

thank you Brian for all that you have done,

    I do appreciate it.

Now I would like for a moment to defend my position.

I am not so quick to comdemn any program without having some reasons for doing so; but when you add together what I think everybody will agree looks like stats that are "fishy"

to the clencher that myself and Heather caught them in a discrepancy that cannot be denied. and I know she will step up and back what I say is the truth. It was during a test we did on I believe was her links (can't remember that part now). but the discrepancy was we were told one thing by one of their aff managers as an excuse; and told another thing by another

these things when added up would give any intelligent person the same cautions that I have set forth here.

now that I have defended my reasoning - because I don't want anybody thinking I am an unreasonable person; nor do I want anyone thinking that I go on witch hunts-

I fully admit there could have been an extended set of unpleasant circumstances to bring us to this point.

and that if nothing else, I applaud PB's making an attempt to explain and to see things right.

and they can pay me whatever I might be owed to the address at NETeller of

    stevebb1@hotmail.com

    **************************************

    to Kid;

you should know me better than that; (and I bet you do too; that's why you said something) - that I would never keep links up to casino that saw $1800 in deposits and that I ended up in the negative

of course I took down their links nearly immediately after seeing those stats; *this is all probably 2 yrs old or better .

so keep the faith. where there's money concerned. the old man hasn't fallen that far off the trail... not yet anyway.

Yes Steve, I will back you up regarding the discrepancy. We did a test on them and they failed it miserably.
However , that was 2 years ago when there was previous affiliate managers there who DID have a bad reputation. Lets face it - Powerbet and Silversands where a dirty word in those days
I still maintain though , that since Peter took over as the affiliate manager they have cleaned up their act considerably but are still unfortunately paying the price for the messups of their predecessors.
I no longer hold it against them though - as they have come to the party time and time again since then ...which is why I now promote them extensively ....in fact I would say that a good 40% of my monthly income comes from them.
Steve , if I were you - give them another chance - they seriously have improved I have no doubt that Peter WILL transfer your earnings.

    Hi again,

thank you Heather. It is too be applauded that they have turned their program around and though I've never met Peter; he sounds like a good guy with an uphill task because yes, they did have a terrible rep.

but it sounds like not only is Peter up to the task, but that he has already gone a long ways to have gained the support of some very respectable names here.

I'd also like to publicly thank Peter, Brian, Heather and Ronda (whom I know has just returned from your part of the world Heather) for their efforts in getting me paid an outstanding balance from PB. that was a nice surprise which will purchase a couple of nice gifts that I otherwise could not have afforded to give; so my family also owes a big thank you to the Santa's they will never see.

    Cheers to you all !!!

    Steve

I know that you have been taken in the past by some shady characters and that trust in an industry where we earn at a distance (by stats we are given) is hard to earn so none of the arguments ever raised can be taken lightly. Your reply above shows depth of character that is hard to match.

Please don't go looking for this hidden link you have. Rather leave it and tell us all what happens when you open your Santa stocking on December 25!

If you decide at some stage to put up a small banner for them, please mail me and I will speak to their designer (Glenn). The guy is SERIOUSLY talented and I will ask him to make you a site specific/game specific banner of your choice. I got him to make me a 100 hand poker banner or two for my SA Rand site (www.best-online-casinos.co.za). It has upped the click through rate heavily on the SA side as well as the $ side. Downloaders are plentiful and the conversion rate is reasonable too.

Thanks Brian, I will certainly consider it.

    PS

I already got my suprise and it went towards buying a Christmas for my GF's two youngest girls; a Christmas they won't soon forget.

So if you get a nice warm feeling Christmas morning that comes on out of the blue; it will be the smiles on these two kids faces.

I went and bought gifts for all 5 kids but mostly for the two youngest; (3 are teenagers)

directly with the money sent to me from Powerbet.

So again I thank you and everyone involved in this matter.

Rest assured; that money was spent towards giving a couple of kids that never have had a "wow- look at all the presents... for me!" kind of Christmas.

and surely wouldn't have had near the excitement this year that they are going to enjoy; if not for this unexpected check from PB.

    Cheers Folks!
