I received the Following email yesterday

Dear Affiliate

Please be informed that the Rummy Royal Affiliate Program will be closed as of April 13th, 2016 (the “Closing Date”). The payment for the services provided by you until such Closing Date will be made to you in accordance with the terms of your agreement and will be the last payment you will be entitled to receive in connection with your activities under the Rummy Royal Affiliates Program.
In addition, you are kindly requested to remove all promotional materials and stop promoting the Rummy Roya product immediately.

We thank you for being part of the Rummy Royal Affiliate Program and wish you the best of luck in your future projects.

All well and good closing down as I hardly ever made money there despite my site being Number 1 in Google for many Rummy terms.....BUT My point is that the actual Rummy Royal site is still operating, so is this just another case of a casino shutting down their affiliate program and keeping all our players whilst the casino remains open?

If so, It is starting to become an alarming trend.....

I have been looking for other Rummy sites but could only find a bunch of Indian sites that don't seem to offer Affiliate Programs. It looks like Rummy is very popular in India

What about the small handful of Playtech's that have the vegas games?

Do any of them offer Rummy or similar games that you might be able to salvage a little bit of traffic from pages possibly created that are somewhat of a content match/

I know not a perfect match but....

I can't access playtech games easily so I cant very simply go through their list of games....

The only Rummy Related Games I could find is the Game Vegas 3 Card Rummy which is offered at RTG Casinos and a few other brands.
I guess it is better than nothing....

With regards to Rummy Royal - I emailed them to ask if they were leaving the Rummy Royal site open and only closing the Affiliate program. I received a reply below - which actually made me feel better as I have a pet hatred for casinos that close down their affiliate program but leave open the casino.

We are sorry to say that the Rummy Royal site and application will be closed by the end of the month. The deposits are disabled and customers cannot deposit or play for real. It is still open only to allow customers to withdraw their funds.

I think I was at the same conference as you in London and also met them. I think this was when we first signed up to start promoting them. Time flies!!

Yeah I think it was London, it was too long ago and too many conventions since then... I feel a bit old right now lol
