Default Scam against ladbrokes - please be aware

    • SOMEBODY JUST TRIED TO DO A SCAM ON LADBROKES .... be aware
      Tom Ladbrokes

      • Hi there,

My name is Tom Givony, Senior affiliate manager at Ladbrokes.

I have an important thing to ask you.

I have been negotiating with, Marcus Daughtry , regarding positions on Slots4play.

I am contacting you today to make sure that this guy is indeed one of your employees as he is sounds a bit fishy to me.

I look forward to your feedback.

        -------------------
      • what i'm trying to say is that somebody acts as slots4play owner or employee or whatever he does ... and he contacted TOM from ladbrokes ...
      • just saying to you this to be carefully when you make your check-ups on website owners ... the fist thing and the easiest one is to contact an official email from that domain (info, support, partners or webmaster @) that he owns or check the bloody whois database ..... some people are so creepy ... realy

Are you saying that someone is misrepresenting an employee from your business or impersonating a Ladbrokes employee?

I witheld commenting originally, but I "think" that Tom contacted Tehsik to verify that "Marcus Daughtry" was representing himself as authorized to act on behalf of Slots4Play which is Tehsik's site.

Tehsik, please clear this up if I have that incorrect.

This is a smart move by Tom, and keeps them from making a bad deal on traffic or exposure that wouldn't likely happen, exposes someone that affiliate managers should be aware about, as well as preserving the image of slots4play.

I thought that was the case but the title of the post made me think it was Ladbrokes that was the scam.

Just means that aff managers may not come across it if they thought the same as I did. Being the social butterfly I am, I just read everything

We've received identical message from Tom, which seems a little weird.
We've made a post about that here: https://www.gpwa.org/forum/warning-f...ee-217142.html

Anyone else got a similar message?
