Search Data between Google Search Console and GA

Hi All!

I have some questions for everyone regarding the organic/search data i see in both GA and Google Search Console (new version).

Basically on individual days i see some differences (some big, some small) between the search data shown in Google Search Console and GA for organic traffic. GA is always higher. this isn't all the time but a majority of the time.

is this normal? and which if any do i favor and is more accurate?

I am sure there may be more responses with other ideas why, but could it be data collated in different time zones or different cut off times?

If so data from longer periods would most likely be much closer to a match.

Could be that Search Console only shows Google traffic whereas GA shows all organic traffic e.g. Bing and Yahoo.

If you'll read documentation about GWT impressions and clicks and GA data - they count them in different ways.
