Does any one know how to rank you website higher in search engines so it's in the first 20-30 sites?

It takes a lot of research and time.

First stop is here, IMO Bruce Clay is master:

Also consider using tools like overtures keyword suggestion tool to build a list of searched terms. It is nigh impossible to get high rankings for generic terms like casino or gambling. Aim for still searched terms that are not so popular/expensive.
