Has anybody received their commissions for September? Mine seem to be MIA. If so, are you using MoneyBookers?

Bank wire received in late October.
Thanks, Gooner! They told me it was a MoneyBookers issue, but didn't want me to switch methods. Seems odd. At least I know they paid someone. Not that they've ever stiffed me before, but you never know in today's climate. :/

No payment yet for me either ( Moneybookers )
It bugs me because this program does well for me... they have always paid me,
but why are their payments arriving later and later every month?
( used to be I'd get a payment on average on the 15th-20th of the month after commission earned. Then it got later... and now it Net-35 )
It is weird, because last month I was paid by mid month. The thing that bothered me the most about this delay, is that there was no notification. I live off of my commissions. This isn't my entertainment money. I really need to know if I'm not going to get paid on time! Maybe if I just don't tell my kids that they won't have groceries next week, they won't notice. Communication is generally poor in this industry.

Potsie - I agree with you about communication - they should be more proactive.
I've had a couple of programs have to change payment mechanisms from time to time and they are almost always those programs that "Want to avoid certain Imperial entanglements" ... if you know what I mean
-----------
However, I don't understand when I see a professional affiliate complaining about family matters being affected by late payments. How does that happen? You should never let yourself get into that situation.
And I'm not really getting at you mate - Christmas is coming up - and I know that we will see a lot of affiliates posting to the forums about needing these late payments - and how much financial hardship it is causing. It happens EVERY year.
This affiliation role is a business, and the facts are that all business do have a percentage of payments that will be past due, arrive late, or in some cases never be paid at all if the programs go out of business. And we've all seen that happen.
The programs are not paying you a salary, your own business is responsible for doing that.
As a business owner you need to look after your employees (YOU). As an owner need to set-up the business cashflow to ensure that your wages / salary / dividends and business bills can be paid for 2-3 months even if ALL funds stop flowing. Keep cash for these essential running expenses in the business and put aside for these sirtuations.
If you haven't done that - then it should be a priority so that it can never hit you again.
To fail to plan for missed payments is just setting yourself (and your dependants) up for hardship at some stage.
I appreciate your insight, Gooner. I realize that delays are inevitable in any business, and you explained this perfectly in your post. I was using the grocery thing as an analogy for their communication issues. Unfortunately, the lack of communication actually communicates how much they value your business. Whether that is intentional or not, it is still the same message.

Got it. There was an issue with MB payments, and it has been resolved. Been burned by some programs in the past, and I can get a bit antsy when details are mysterious. All is goodThanks, Stephen!

congrats Potsie
Seems like evryone gets paid before I do
I hope I haven't offended them in some way...
Maybe they pay alphabetically? ( my last name is W )
nahh...it works like this....
If there are late payments by alphabet it goes by username so I fall into the category.
If there will be technical issues for any program, it will happen to my account.
If a program can get broken by an affiliate, it will almost always be Fiction's fault....
Ok all kidding aside, don't worry the guys at Commission Biz have been pretty forthcoming at every step so I am sure you will be taken care of, drop them a line here if you experience much more of a delay.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!
