How about a free trip to the next conference, all first class?

For myself the ipad stinks and is nothing less than a glorified iphone. With no ports, lacking horsepower, and Jobs saying no to flash it is no wonder the ipad is being curb stomped. Not something I personally would enjoy, it would drive me nuts.

However if there was a bridge between the P.C and cell phone there is a contender the HTC EVO. A Android phone that can run on 3G or 4G networks, very fast, and cost $300.00 less.

For incentives how about affiliate and program work hard together. But if a trip is in order have a ticket draw for those who never been to a conference. I assume there are lots of affiliates who would like to attend but cannot afford the trip. Now that would be something cool IMO fresh faces.

I want an iPad for as a low weight/low profile laptop for emailing, checking stats, playing poker and to show sites to people when I am traveling. I hadn't really thought of using it as a phone.

Prof I do hear what you are saying about an ipad being an ideal affiliate prize at the moment. For me the fact apple have chosen to make it like the iPhone and NOT allow flash to work on it means I would not buy it out of principle plus many great widgits, gizmos and games not to mention website navigations are flash based and the fact my iPhone can't handle them annoys the hell out of me so I would never actually pay for an ipad.

But it is still a gadget even if a limited use one so as a prize I would love to win one.

My opinion on how an affiliate competition should be run is that they should be done in such a way that affiliates feel they have a chance of winning. Which is more complex that you might think I am happy to give my more detailed opinion to any aff manager who Pms me and asks.

I won a netbook from Fortune that was nice but I won't sign up with a new program for a IPAD lol.I like the trip idea and of course has to be first class although last time i went to Europe i paid for 3 economy seats together for $2700 instead of $6000 for one executive classand stretched out on them but if you do that please make sure the arm rests go up.Did that once on British airways and they were like space ship seats with big consoles between them lol.I did get a refund on my unused seats but was stuck in economy for 7+ hours.

Personally I don't care to have a ipad or a all expenses paid trip. I would rather have a program that does their darnest to convert and retain players and to answer emails........jmo

But for all of you who would want one of those.......I say go for it!!!!!
