Default should be concerned when a player wins every time?

    Hi all!

I`m working with Rev Share and I have a player that plays like once a month, but everytime he plays he wins, and wins good money. The player did not withdrall the money, but by the time I`m loosing like $200 because of him.

My question is, should I be worried with that kind of player or this can be good in a long term? Do you have experiences with players that don`t play too much but when they do they win? And what happens in the long term?

    Regards!

    Default Handicapping

I made a living for 25 years off the ponies and River Downs or Keenland didn't seem to mind.

I wouldn't get too concerned, remember the laws of probability will swing your way sooner or later. It hurts. I had a guy wipe my Sportsbet check out this month with a big parlay win. That's why they call it gambling I guess.

Today the player won $270. I lost $90.
Thatīs the problem when you are small affiliate and have bad luck.

Maybe his gaming era for this period is like "yeah, Lady Luck is with me". But don't worry, tides will change and you'll be eventually accompanied by luck more, and you have the additional house edge advantage over that player, as what jctroy said.

    Hi,

When it comes to sport betting people they can keep on winning for a long time, but then usually an operator will block or reduce the amount he can bet or limit the markets they can bet on.

Cause when it comes to sportbetting and especially the smaller sports or lower leagues the punter can actually have better information then the operator.

If it is a Casino player the house edge will catch up sooner or later.

    Good luck !

    Cheers

You could possibly ask the program if they can ring-fence this player. If you have a good relationship with you then they might be willing to do this. However, be aware that this will normallymean that if they start losing you wont get those commissions.

    Thanks for the replays!

davenewgates, thanks for your comment. I hope it will go as you say. Iīm gonna wait a time, perhaps a couple of months waiting for a change. I just hope that if I finish negative this month, next month I can start with 0!

    Hi brean78!

Thatīs the risk!!! And I donīt know if is better to asume it or not! Perhaps he will lose in 1 month everything + $X plus. You never know. Or perhaps he withdraw the money and goes to play in another casino, so heīs no more my player... and only gave me losses...

How many months in a row has this guy been winning?
Must be frustrating for you as the affiliate to lose all your commissions beacause of one adept player.

Maybe it's just a matter of luck. Perhaps it's just his luck on that day and maybe the next day will be yours. Don't be bothered by those. Maybe they're already a professional in gambling while you're just a novice. Remember, practice makes perfect, though nobody is perfect, but still keep on practicing.

It might be frustrating but like everyone says the house will win in the end. Even if they pull their winnings out eventually they will soon put it back.

Have no fear Nico!! The chances of him winning will start to drop once the porcentage of losing catches up with him! Just a matter of time!

As for me, I wouldn't be bothered if a player wins every time. I'll just think of a way to beat him / her of what is behind his / her winnings. Or maybe it's just his / her day today.. who knows, tomorrow might be mine.

We've had players who win consistently. Ask a few affiliates who have to have their winners zeroed out until they provide positive revenue. It can, and does happen.

The most successful players I've seen are those who start with €1000 or more and play live blackjack or baccarat. They seem to be able to chase the variations and quit when ahead and then rest for about 8 hours.

When a player wins like that the only thing you can do is watch. Believe it or not we actually root for them and we are sincerely glad to pay them out when they win. Good for them!

Face it, we have to have winners, and I like to see them. Our largest winner in one day was €35000. He won it all playing blackjack and baccarat simultaneously at LuckyLiveCasino. He withdrew his funds the very next day without hassles and has been a loyal player ever since.

I would be concerned if your casino didn't have winners more than the opposite.
