Singapore have had a Remote Gaming Act in for a while now. (basically not allowed at all).
They are starting to ban / block destinations and even affiliate sites that have adverts too.
I imagine that they are also instructing CC processors to follow suit (much like the UK).
Thanks for the Update

Sites are being added all the time - and it's a burgeoning and ever growing list.
Our main affiliate site was added late last year - because we had advertisements on it.

They wrote to us directly and asked us to either : a/ remove adverts or b/ block Singapore gamblers accessing or else our site would be added to the list. Neither option was acceptable to use. Went through a 3 email countdown - and then got the "you are blocked" email.
Looking at Google analytics - Singapore has now dropped to #38 in our list of countries (from #4) - so the block is not totally effective.

Wow so they actually contacting the site to inform them about the block before they do it and they dont post any list for my understanding
Did you used .sg domain ?
I'm considering shutdown the singapore site because of the same reasons, this was once a strong casino market but now dropped significantly down
but still traffic from .sg is coming from google everyday so I'm not sure what is the next step.. yet
No I did not use a .sg domain - given the Singapore government reputation I think that if I had been using a .sg then they would have got it shut down. They seem to think that they have a legal mandate within Singapore thanks to the Remote Gambling Act - but my site was outside their reach.
It probably just a matter of whether your website is well known / well used by Singaporians - if it is then eventually they will get news of it and go through a process.
