Default Site Names On Mobile Search

Interesting this, noticed it earlier on a google search on mobile - basically the site name (brand) above the URL, then title/description. Kneejerk reaction is I like it aesthetically, although whether it's another element that plays into the hands of recognised brands rather than smaller sites remains to be seen.

Expect there will be a little bit of tweaking required for some sites to get the desired result. Details here for anyone interested: https://developers.google.com/search...ames-on-search

    Thanks

This is something Yoast already does so no additional plugins needed if using yoast, guessing rankmath and AIO likely take care of this also.

I took a look at the documentation and found it ironic the instructions for handing this in json references http:
    Code:
    "@context" : "http://schema.org",
The microdata example references the https version of the schema lol.

I do not know if there is a specific reason for that or not.
