First my browser blocked a pop up so I do not know what it was but personally I do use any pop ups as they are annoying and I hit the back button if they do come up.

When you first come to site your eyes are drawn to the the first paragraph that at first glance has nothing to do with betting. No call to action buttons there to sign up or visit a page for a review. I would personally move that to the bottom and focus on getting vistors to click to a sportsbook or some inner page. Is your goal to get facebook likes or get players to sign up at a sportsbook? That is valuable real estate so I wouldnt waste it on FB or twitter.

Your 125 banners are on top of the text in the body. I would recommend having the banner to left like it is but have the text directly to the right instead of underneath the banner. The way it is now there is a lot of white space.

The banners to the right are pretty busy. If you want to have banners over there I would decrease the number of them. They all just kind of run together and do not entice me to click on them because I am not going to sit there and read every single banner, I will just skip over them.

    My 2 cents.............

    Your website looks good.

You have to many banners. If I open your website I count 15 banners without scrolling. The most annoying are the 10 small banners on the right. I would remove those. Or maybe 1 bigger banner. But not 10 small flashing banners.

The menu links to vietbet. That website is offline.

    Good luck with your websites!

    EDIT:
I see UltimatePokerBonus post now. We were posting at the same time. He had the same opinion as I have for the banners.

Thank you very much guys! I Really appreciate it. I took the 125X125 banners down and put a call to action in the first paragraph. The purpose of the first paragraph for me was to welcome everyone and not be too aggressive because i have the call to actions with my recomended book right below. Would you mind taking another look at it and see if the improvements I made, made a difference. Again thank you very much for your time and critique!

Hi, I would definitely remove the pop up when you load the site. Pop ups are really annoying and could cause people to bounce. The mouse arrow on your logo really catches my eye. I want to click it! Possibly remove this and direct people's eyes to a cta?

Also how about aligning the text to the right of the banners? Something like the attachment?

    Good luck with your site.

    I don't get a popup?

Your own banner is indeed strange. I thought it was a promotion banner for a other website and I didn't even look at it. I would make it bigger and spread it over the whole width. And a bit higher. Create it so that the promotional banner fits inside it.
Or replace the banner by a promotion banner.

Align right of the banner would be a good idea. That looks better then the whitespace now. But I think it will be to much banners next to each other then. Maybe you can make your texts a bit longer so that they align next to the banner and below it.
Or maybe you can place every 2nd banner on the left and align that text to the left.

Yes it looks much better. I agree you should line up text with the banner as lowrisk has done above.

Can I also recommend not using the centre-justified text on the bookmaker review pages? I think it makes it too difficult to read.

Advice I would give any affiliate is that, where ever possible, you need not only to have good content but that you need to keep your pages ordered. By that I mean that I won't always take the time to read your text and content to decide for myself whether or not it has any value to me. In the crucial few milliseconds that your page has loaded I an absorbing everything on your page that i can see, using it to weigh-up where I am going to look next and what am I going to do about it - am i going to stick around or click back?

I want YOU to make it easy for me. Is my eye getting pulled all over the place? SHOW me where you want me to look first. These are the things to keep in mind and are applicable to all of us, I'm not singling you out for any special criticism

Next thing I would recommend is for you to decide what is the purpose of your site.

There are 1,001 other basic review sites out there so what is the point of your page; that's the question I ask myself as a customer. As a punter I have found your site with google so i clearly understand that there are different books out there to compare, what i want to know is what YOU as the affiliate think about these books - I need YOU to help me decide. So far the reviews are quite generic, they all sound like they are equally great and could have been written by the operators themselves.

Look for niches that you can exploit - for example, if you are targeting US traffic then perhaps the site could be about how to be as legally protected as possible, lots of reassurances about safety etc. Alternatively, it could be a site about the most trusted brands for US players or sites that have the greatest customer service.

Right now your site appears to say "here's a bunch of sites with US markets, pick anyone of them you like, I don't mind which."

What is the angle for your site? - I want you to help me make a decision and I'm relying on you to steer me in the right direction. The player wouldn't be on your site if they weren't interested in making an online bet so you need to think about what it is that is stopping them and address that head-on.

I think your reviews could benefit from a couple of things. You could write them from a personal perspective, get out there and try the sites, test their CS and withdrawal times etc, did your account get locked for verification? - how helpful were they etc? You may even get AM's willing to give you a test player account with a small amount of cash in it (but locked to prevent withdrawals) so that you can test them for yourself - it can't hurt to ask them.

Also, find a visual way to compare and rate these brands whether by marks out of ten, graph scores in different categories, traffic lights showing which are good or bad etc.

This gives me a way to evaluate and compare the brands without having to read lots and lots of text.

The other affiliates here will be able to give you much more specific advice on the tech aspects of page construction; that's not my area of expertise. However, as an AM, I spend most of everyday looking at affiliate websites so can speak from a user perspective.

Either way, by getting on board at GPWA you've already made the first, best decision as here you'll get advice from both sides, Welcome aboard!

Thank you for the question. In my business plan I wrote my purpose is to inform people on which sites are the best, where the best bonuses are, and how the sites are ranked on authority online betting sites. It is also to provide content on reviews on the games as well as upcoming games including the odds ext..

What is different about my site? The way I try to make my site different is with the content written by myself(as well as Bet Online's) which not just a rewrite but written after watching games, and reading other reviews and putting my own personal touch on it.

Another way I try to make my site different is with the graphics which I make myself and get from the google advanced search that is free to share, modify, and use for commercial use. I put my logo's in there and try to spice it up. Another thing that I like to do which is unique for me is have webcasts done of the weeks events such as http://youtu.be/l9fPD-TCm3c

I also like to put a little spice on my posts about the brooklyn nets by putting in a jay z video or picture because he a percentage of the team, I am a big fan of his.

My desired result is to have readers become fans of my site and not just sign up once and never come back. But to have a nice experiance and trust my site which I hope will result in people coming back to my site if they want to switch books and read reviews (I need to work on them) and sign up using my bonus codes.

I have a lot of work to do on my site and have implemented some things so far but still have a long way to go. The way was though in college to write a business plan is to have 1. The Purpose of the Business 2. The Desired Result For The Business and 3. The Plan Of Action The Business is going to take to get the desired results.

That was my thought process in building my site, I am always trying to think out of the box and come up with unique things that will capture the readers eye. @hogeyboy I really appreciate the time you took out and the detail you put in on the critique. It opened my eyes on things that I am trying to do that are not working as well as I hoped and have to adjust my approach on. Thank you again for you, I appreciate it.

I'm glad that you thought my comments were useful, edgarf and I'm glad that you viewed them as a critique and not criticism, if you see what I mean.

In general, the things I mentioned apply to all sites; I wasn't just singling you out and when I say ALL sites, I include operators too. Reading back through my comment yesterday I think the most important words, that apply equally to affiliates and operators is:
The player wouldn't be on your site if they weren't interested in making an online bet so you need to think about what it is that is stopping them and address that head-on.

Operators have teams of people and decent budgets but it is still something that they have to constantly work on and we don't always get it right.

Keep working and keep improving your pages and your methods - Good Luck
