    Default Site review and intro

Hello, my name is Tom and this is my first post here! I have just started pokersurvival.com and would like to hear some reviews/feedback from some of you.

I also own getrichcasino.com that I will hopefully be using a private/whitebox system as soon as I get some advise from some of you.

slutpoker.com is another name I have, but can't decide what to do with it, but it gets some type in traffic.

I am new to this niche, so be gentle!

If you get a chance, sign up in my forum and help me with some posts. Please do not take this as an ad. I do not intend on using your forum for that, but thought while you are reviewing my site you could check the forum too.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to sharing with you all.

pokersurvival.com is not bad. I like it. Good design will attract a lot of players. But I would add several the best poker rooms where players could play.

Thank you aksana. I just designed the site Friday and found this forum on Sat. I plan on adding alot of affiliate programs and I have a few other gambling domain names I want to get going, but I want to focus on making this one first.

How long have you been in this business?

I have had some luck with affiliate programs in the past, but I am new to this niche.

Let me guess you've been in the porn industry?

No, I wasn't in the porn niche. I picked it up when I was doing some domain name trading. I thought it would be a good seo name for poker sites, but alot of people think it's a porn name, so I don't use it. Actually, I am pointing it to pokersurvival.com for traffic.

I may still develop it, but I want to focus on 1 site at a time.

I added some more links like you suggested. I will be adding more pages to it tommorrow.
I need some good poker articles and I need to get more people to use the forums. I want to have some content before I pay to promote the site.
I have been getting some decent traffic today, but no posts in the forums.

Man I don't want to sound like I'm sh#tting on your parade, but as word of caution...Porn & gambling are not accepted bed partners (no pun intended).

On a whole, most webmasters in this industry hold their integrity in high esteem, as do the casino/poker/bingo/sportsbooks they promote. Anything to do with Porn or that referrence Porn is basically frowned upon.

Athough I hear what your saying with regards to the re-directed traffic that your pointing to pokersurvival.com, I'd personally weight up the immediate benefits against your long term goals in this regard. I'd also point out that the poker site/s you may start to bring onto this site, may no be very impressed if they discover your using an abridged porn domain to proxy advertise their brands.

It may also be that your (affiliate Terms & Conditions agreement) clearly state that no porn site/s are to be used to promote (directly or indirectly) these poker rooms. In this regard you may find that a poker room discovers your using slutpoker.com for traffic and turns around and refuses to pay you your affiliate commission as you've voided your contract.

    Just some food for thought

As far as pokersurvival.com I like the concept though I'd loose the amazon and google ad words at the footer. Too many points to allow your traffic to click off some place else.

What you want to do is to encourage your traffic to click on your aff sites, sign-up and drop some cash. Obviously without making it look like this is your sole intention...

    Cheers

Thnx aussiedave, but I am not trying to mix the 2 niches. I would have like to have pokerslut.com as it doesn't sound as bad. Maybe slutpoker could be a strip poker site, but I really do not want to mess with it.

I agree on the amazon and google links, but they were the only affiliates I had when I was starting. I am slowly deleting them as I ad more content, but leaving them for now.

I bought some articles and will be adding them this week too.

I need some help getting some people using the forums, but I know they will come with the traffic.

That's a good point what Dave is saying, don't mix p and g.
However, as long as it's not a porn site I don't see the problem with the word **** in the name. You have to be an adult to gamble and I think the average adult can handle the word ****. I kind of like that name.

A great example of another site that has a name similar to yours is xx://bonuswhores.com. I'm quit sure the poker brands are lining up to get placed on this site.

    PS.

Thx deaddog, and I am sure alot of people could associate being called a poker ****, thats why it may be catchy.

I am getting concerned with the current laws being challenged, so my time with gambling sites may be short!
