I got it too, but to be fair I stopped promoting them when they brought in the ridiculous quotas.
Feel bad for you guys that stuck with them to make it work and have now been royally screwed.

Some people have come on here showing that they relied on this income for their livelihood. C'mon HodgeyBoy, that's poor.
The thing is some big accounts have been put an a approved list to carry on dealing with Skybet, sure it should just be one rule across the board not one rule for one and another rule for someone else
Hello all,
First post on here, I will likely lose about 70-80K a year from this and about 20% of my total revenue. I am 100% behind the legal action for those who have mentioned it and please message me for any support on this.
A bit of info I have
I was not paid my commission until I had to agree to the new terms and conditions - Should be good of court
I know 100% that they have agreed to work with selected affiliates that they have chosen - Should also be good for court
I hope that when they realise that they are costing people their jobs, houses and lives from this decision then they might change their mind but I fear this won't be the case.
If you close the accounts but keep the rev share, that makes some sense, if you don't want any new business but previous customers we have got, have no effect on the new guidelines that are out, as we acquired them before these changes.
Hopefully together we can get some justice, where a company filled with greed, don't care about us at all.
TheBoyMitchell, I take it you haven't gone to the meeting Tom arranged this morning in London? Speak to him mate tonight and see how it went?
Exit stage left
Last month's commission has disappeared for some reason.
Must be problems with the system reporting.
I heard that come of the big affiliates have been put on an approved list which will still be aloud to push them, sure it should be the same rule across the board
I got big hit as well. Not devastating, but Skybet was far the best working UK programme besides Bet365 and I gave them higher exposure during last months.
I would like to join the lawsuit group, even when I can not promise I will 100% join. My main business now is cryptos. I am also not a lawyer, I am doing businesses that are simple. I am avoiding paperwork at all costs, because I believe there is always better use of my time. But there are exceptions.
I can not believe that once UK was a leading nation of this planet. Such a decadence.

You guys who have been badly affected need to try legal action. Maybe a class action would be a possibility, but like per usual some affected more than others!
I'm afraid this reneging has become part of the parcel, and it won't stop if it's not challenged. Time for the big affiliates to re-invest some of the hard earned, or prepare for the burial.
The way all this is going is simply unacceptable, and it's just amazing that they can get away with it!!
Also need to think of ways to damage there business, although its not easy to promote something them call them bad!

This is private equity companies thinking they're god, and only thinking about money. Bet365 would never dream of doing this because they know it's jobs they'd be nuking.
It's a big hit for us too, and I'm considering my options as are others, but you'd have to think Skybet lawyers think this is water tight.
Last month's commission has been deleted but I have just heard back that it is being looked into to get resolved.

Hodgey - this isn't a laughing matter, there's jobs at stake here...

You also worked for Coral if I recall, we made a deal and the deal is now cancelled as well. I hope your jokes will be strong enough for you to overcome your conscience.
I think a lot about affiliate managers when things like this happen. And I honestly pity them. It is obvious they also lost jobs here and now they must live with the fact their work until now was nothing but lies.

I would think more that they assume most affiliates are small so will go away quietly.you'd have to think Skybet lawyers think this is water tight.

The beginning of every month I always have the same conversation with the mrs saying how much I could have earned if sky hadn't have shafted us with the quotas. Even at 5% they still remain one of my bigger earners and now that is reduced to 0.
Its just another day in the affiliate world. I was saying last week how I have personally had my accounts closed for three different affiliates in the last two months through the non active clauses and even though those did not affect me financially it would only be a matter of time before one did. If this does not get people to work together to fight back then nothing ever will.
