Nobody will take them to court...

But what they have done will backfire on them as other bookmakers will now mop up. I've got all my players and id's when SKY come crawling back i'll be wanting all my existing players, but will never be a scumbag and give bogus tips.

Well hopefully it does backfire, but even if it does and they reintroduce their affiliate program, the rats will quickly go crawling back. Take a look at people still advertising for foxy now.

I'm pretty confident other sites (especially bookies) are jumping on the situation to shave even more, (i've seen many wierd things this september on my affiliate panels) I don't know who I should bring my traffic to anymore and it's not fun.

SkyBet only accepts a few countries anyway, so no disaster here but I feel sorry for you who lose a lot of money on this. At least I can say Our top 50 bookmakers list looks much better without them. SkyBet was downgraded to CAUTION list today.

Funny thing is that the sneaky bastards are greasing the right hands at fb to get their stuff approved (look at Footy Accumulators still promoting them), they realized pretty quickly how much money can be done from there.

I agree with previous comments, sumbags are exactly what they are.

I'd go as far as saying they are the main reason for all the recent problems with the industry.

I would call the people selling tips scumbags too. I would call all marketers incl. myself scumbags as well. I would call all losing bettors (99.99%) morons and idiots as well. But lets me honest. This world is a war on resources and there are different strategies to survive. And anyone who wants to survive must cheat a bit and not to cheat a bit. Nature discards both extremes. It is just natural that the closer someone is, the more longterm relationship one plans to have and the richer one is ... the cheating is less probable and less paying off.

But is it rational to argue who is a bigger cheater or idiot? Choose your life strategy and live with that and be dirty as much as you have chosen.
If there is a feeling inside that the society or business has to be more ethical, then Go, change it! And for change, you need power, for power, you need money and for money you need to cheat into some extent. And we all do that: placing any gambling banner even compliant with all regulation is a deception.

I remember my youth in a socialist country. Everywhere was written: "With Soviet Union forever". But it meant in fact: "With Soviet Union forever * unless it dissolves or USSR or USA destroy us". Lifetime revenue share is kinda like that as well.

Affiliate industry now is turning ****. There are still decent companies: Bet365, Bovada, Unibet... But if you do not like the trend then invest into future. Why nobody is doing affiliate software with tracking built in blockchain and smart contracts that would really prevent cheating unlike castrated law? The more cheating happens, the more it will pay off to come with solution to prevent that. No, state will not help you a lot. State is here to help big corps and who own it and then the state is here to help to the poor so they do survive and do not make a revolution. Small and mid businesses are on their own. Look forward to next decades and innovate. Or look backwards and become poor. If you do not have nerves to open an email with expectation that everything just broke apart in one second, then it is not a work for you. Go, be a hipster and open a cafe.

But all those debates do not help me to get some money from Skybet or at least punish them.

Some larger sites are still promoting skybet as of today.

    https://www.skybet.com/lp/acq-bet-10...=a_30013b_20c_

I'm sure you can discern the owners from the affiliate tag. This is clearly an affiliate tag and not a 'media buy'.

Might be interesting for some of you, Anthony requested the details of 'who' privately.

is that a link from Footy Accumulators? They are still openly promoting Sky Bet, I'm not sure what the relationship between the two is but obviously they weren't included in the ceasing of affiliates.

In order to continue to operate in a compliant manner, we feel that operating the Programme is no longer viable and that managing the output of affiliates presents a significant risk to our business from a regulatory perspective. It is for this reason that we have chosen to terminate the Programme.
^ Bullshit as proven by the link posted above

The Affiliate Hub portal will now remain accessible past October 2nd to allow you to access your data. There is no fixed date for access to be removed at this time, but we urge you to take everything you need as soon as possible to ensure you have a complete set of records.
^ More bullshit so that they can keep their chosen few tracked in the interim until they find a 'hidden' solution.

If any affiliate is directly responsible for these "changes" that's Footy Accumulators and their bogus profits. I follow a twitter called Betting Scams and they review it each month and it's all made up numbers.

Funny enough Skybet closes to avoid such advertisers, but stays to work with the very cause. Nothing more to be discussed here. It wasn't done for regulation purposes. It was done to gain pure profit starting this month.

Might as well lock this stupid pointless thread and stop popping up Skybet's name around here. They should be completely forgotten not lively discussed.

It really is a **** joke that footyaccumulators can still promote them. They should be one of the ones in the most **** but of course profit is all that matters.

It makes no sense to close the thread. This should be an information source of which sites and affiliates are still promoting Skybet to build up any potential cases.

I wouldn't be surprised if pissed off marketers decided to start pushing those affiliate links via spammy sites, building crappy web2.0s, comment spamming, forum spamming, poor quality PBN's and fake tipster sites. I imagine those crappy Fiverr backlink gigs would be inundated with former Sky Bet affiliates.

I imagine that would affect Sky in the long run.

Stacks of affiliates are still pushing them. Affiliates who weren't on Rev Share. People didn't actually believe they are stopping affiliate traffic did they?
