Sky Bingo Stats Question

Apologies if this isn't the right forum for affiliate hub questions, but I didn't see a separate one and figured that IA manage the program....

I've noticed something a bit off about the new Sky Bingo program after it switched from 35% rev to £10 CPA + 15% rev. Thing is the CPA isn't acting independently of the rev share. Surely the whole point of a CPA is to pay out affs a fixed sum regardless of the players win or losses, but with the new Sky Bingo system the CPA is getting wiped out by players wins. So essentially this isn't a CPA, just a crappier rev share.

For example, this was one player this month:

Deposits: £ 40.00
Bonus: £-11.00
Net Revenue: £-253.29
Commission: £-70.35
CPA: £10
Total Commission: £-60.35

Surely this should be:
Commission = £10 CPA + (-70.35)
Commission = £10 CPA + (0)
Commission = £10

Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Thanks for your question and the opportunity to clarify this for you. The Sky Bingo commission structure is set up is set up as a £10 CPA + 15-25% revenue share. The minimum criteria on the CPA portion is extremely easy for affiliates to attain as it is £1 of Bingo Net Revenue generated. The CPA portion is intended to be a boost on top of the revenue share component for affiliates who are forwarding players who generate positive net revenue.

Had you been on your previous commission of 35% net revenue for Sky Bingo, you would have earned £-88.65. As stated in the T&Cs, Sky offers two key advantages to affiliates – one being no negative deducts (meaning negative commission from one product does not deduct from positive commission earned from another product), as well as no negative rollovers. No negative rollover is extremely advantageous from an affiliate standpoint and means that if you have a poor month, you start fresh the following month at £0, rather than having to earn positive commissions in the amount of negative commissions earned the previous month before you can begin earning again. As always, affiliate feedback is welcomed and taken on board, and no commission structure is set in stone.
