Question Slots or roulette, where is the adrenaline higher?

I would say slots, especially when you hit a high-volatility bonus round. The flashing lights and the possibility of a massive jackpot multiplier provide a huge rush that you just do not get from a standard roulette spin. It is more fast-paced and unpredictable.

High volatility slots are built for risk-takers who prefer games with higher variance in outcomes.

I would think that Roulette has more of a steady rush (each roll of the ball) for the full roll. While slots will lull you into complacency until a 'hit' happens - then you are either on a high (if it is actually a good hit) or you are taken down another notch when it is a hit, but not enough to help recover bankroll.

Now that I think of it.... they are probably quite similar in that regard. If you are playing black/red, it is probably similar to low/medium volatility and if you are playing a number it might be a bit more like extreme volatility

Of course... I'm just guessing I'm not much of a roulette player, that is my wife's domain when she gambles. I prefer the slots.

I’d say it depends on a few factors beyond the game itself (for example, bet size), but if we’re comparing the games on their own, I’d go with slots. They feel more interactive, and outcomes are built around multiple triggers aligning in a particular sequence before you get the reward, which can give you a “hit” each time you get one step closer to a bigger win.

I tend to agree that it comes down more to how you play than the game itself.
Roulette creates tension every single spin, especially when you’re watching the ball slow down — it’s a very focused kind of adrenaline. Slots feel different: most spins are routine, but when the bonus is close or the reels slow in the right way, the spike is much sharper.
In that sense, roulette feels more consistent, while slots deliver adrenaline in bursts. Both scratch the same itch, just in different ways.

It's very subjective, but I'd say it's slots 100%. Fast spins, a lot of flashing lights, especially with high volatility. It does feel more intense than roulette.

For me, these two forms of gambling are very similar in terms of emotions and sensations. I'd say it's 50/50.

Both for me however with a number of people around watching, roulette can provide a bigger high.
